In years to come, we won’t talk about what he did on the pitch but refer to him as the look a like of the the virgin from road trip4
-
2 loanees recalled early in 2 seasons as the clubs felt they were being mishandled... For opposite reasons.1
-
On the day of the one game where he should have been virtually a guaranteed starter. Alex Gilbey running our midfield it is then0

Such a shame he's left so soon, especially as we all know that Bowyer improves players - he told us that himself !!1 -
I wish him all the best, but we took him when we were desperate for anyone.7

Not tonight he won't beLeuth said:On the day of the one game where he should have been virtually a guaranteed starter. Alex Gilbey running our midfield it is then1 -
More loanees have improved under Bowyer and his team than those who haven’t.golfaddick said:

I keep forgetting Gilbey is suspended. Just fuckin play Maddison, Williams, Morgan and Millar and go for the throat I don't care7

Will we replace him or (as I assume) is Millar his replacement, albeit in a different position?0
-
Bowyer wants to replace him with 'a physical midfielder', which means another David Davis who will stay in the team even when Pratley and Watson are available1
-
I think it will be 1 in 1 out. Bows making it fairly clear he wants another physical CM. Bogle would be my bet if we could get rid of him, but more likely to be Deji or Purrington. Alternatively I think we could send Famewo back and sign a CM.moutuakilla said:Will we replace him or (as I assume) is Millar his replacement, albeit in a different position?0 -
No problem with square pegs leaving. As long a we replace them with round ones.2

Yeah, bet Gallagher, Cullen, Leko and Bielik are ruing the day they went to Charlton on loangolfaddick said:

No point in keeping the lad if Bowyer was never going to play him.
This now frees up another place in the squad so we move on.
I wish Levitt all the best it just didn't work out for him here.6 -

Shame, thought he had something about him,I think he will be glad to get away, must be awful being 200 miles from home, from family and friends and not getting a sniff of a game.1

Yes but on the plus side he was 200 miles away from Jesse Lingardthickandthin63 said:Shame, thought he had something about him,I think he will be glad to get away, must be awful being 200 miles from home, from family and friends and not getting a sniff of a game.1 -

“Is he going back better than he came? I think yeah. There’s stuff he has taken on board that I’ve passed on to him and he said himself ‘I feel I’m learning here’. He enjoyed it here."
Bows says. We are amazing and just can't stop improving young loanees! Sod the proof of match day, this is heartening and comforting news!1 -

Total bollox2 -
I just see him going back as a broken man and extremely confused about what is now his best position.
He’ll do well somewhere.0 -
Rumours that Portsmouth and Qpr are interested in him.0

Suspect he wanted to be nearer to his family and friends in Manchester during the Covid crisis and lockdowns. Totally understandable.Richard J said:Rumours that Portsmouth and Qpr are interested in him.
Portsmouth will enable him to do that. :-)

Last season QPR had Matt Smith in the first half of the season, then we had him in the second. Perhaps we will do it the other way round this seasonRichard J said:Rumours that Portsmouth and Qpr are interested in him.1 -
Bit of a comedown from Charlton, Portsmouth and QPR..4
