Wrong place, wrong time for Levitt, can’t see Bowyer giving United any assurance that he’ll get guaranteed game time. If Oshilaja stays, he’s got to get the nod at Hull otherwise what’s the point of holding onto him 🤷♂️ and Ronnie’s a done deal, well I never 😏.0

Let's be honest, Bows will play Watson, Pratley, and probably JFC, in that order before playing Levitt in front of the CBs. Frankly I can understand why, you need a bit of bite somewhere in the team.RedChaser said:1 -

Based on current logic, We're going to see Amos playing in midfield before Levitt ever does again!3 -
Pearce, Pratley, Watson, JFC were the spine of our team last week. What a one-paced core.
Am hoping Schwartz provides that impetus in goals and style of play too. If he's decent, we can use Washington out wide as he has too many anonymous threat-free games up top.1 -
No he's saying that all Strikers miss chance after chance at times and used Karlan Grant's game against Shrewsbury as an exampleElliotCAFC said:
Are you comparing Karlan Grant to Omar Bogle?cafc_se7 said:People seem to forget that Karlan missed chance after chance after chance at this level 2 seasons ago! The miss at anfield the other night reminded me of the Shrewsbury away game where he missed about 10 of a similar sort!
Scunthorpe and Accrington were others where he was bloody wasteful2 -
What we need even more than a striker is a dynamic midfielder who can run at pace with the ball at his feet.mendonca said:Pearce, Pratley, Watson, JFC were the spine of our team last week. What a one-paced core.
Our midfield always looks like a very slow game of Subbuteo.1 -
I think fitter Maddison gets the more he will go paat players.grumpyaddick said:

Maddison is getting up to fitness and he'll hopefully be that player. If we can get Gilbey back up to his pre-injury form/condition he could also fill the role.grumpyaddick said:

Gillingham want Oshilaja but isnt going anywhere...

We need to try to use Washington/Smyth/Williams if want some pace or dribbling skills, but it's the manager's call.
Bow's is using Watson as if he is Josh Cullen.4 -

Am I right in thinking, Schwartz has to sign before 23:00 today?0

Cant happenDA9 said:Am I right in thinking, Schwartz has to sign before 23:00 today?0 -
Right just to be clear. Any team can sign any player whenever they want, that player cannot however be registered to play until the window opens.7

Sure, but he also scored 14 league goals before January and created a lot of them chances by himself with either raw pace or a bit of trickery. He was also 20 years old, not 27 and in his prime.ForeverAddickted said:

Scunthorpe and Accrington were others where he was bloody wastefulWhile all strikers miss chances, they also need to score some as well.0 -
I may be putting two and two together and getting five but joe garner coming in? Been playing regularly at the level as bows suggested and has just been released on a free.0
-
Surely the one that's playing regular has to be a CB? Unless it's Sorba Thomas?
Don't think Liam Lindsay has been featuring for Stoke.0 -

So, we wont be seeing Schwartz at Hull & probably just a cameo against Accrington. Nothing changes.chev said:2 -
But literally nothing anyone can do about it. It's not as if he's being laissez-faire about it or doesn't want to bring people in. It's just how the rules work.golfaddick said:

It was a silly booking from Aneke's part to miss out on the Hull game. But I think he needs to work himself up like that to get going.2

If Gills want Oshilaja we can take Jack Tucker from them. I’d be very happy with that1
-
if Gillingham take anything from us, it will be the lead on the training ground roof28

I think he is just showing affection for an old club. I think he is better than he has shown and our service has been a factor. I would keep.Laddick01 said:
Still don’t think he’s a terrible footballer. Definitely not above league one quality, but look dangerous when we first picked him up.ElliotCAFC said:
Most likely nothing in it but this tweet has sent Grimsby fans into meltdown
Sadly we can’t afford a striker that doesn’t score goals.1 -
Player 1 - Schwartz
Player 2 - Any idea?
Which of our players are likely to be in squads for the Euros?1 -
