Don was one of the worst players in my Sunday morning football team of old. He always put on his right sock before his left sock and his left boot before his right boot. After the game, he would follow the reverse procedure. When questioned about this, he would cheerily respond "it brings me luck". It was a weekly part of the pre-match dressing room banter. The usual response was "for Christ's sake, don't get the sock/boot procedure wrong, Don, we don't want to see you playing without luck". I seem to recall that this response was interspersed liberally with one other word.

The Prediction League was tough for many for the two weeks before the International break; points were hard to earn. Maybe, you need some luck like Don. Maybe, you should try putting your socks on in a different order or throwing your underwear in the air before dressing. Try it. You never know; it may work. With that encouragement and those thoughts, I'll leave you to choose any three from this lovely bunch. Good luck.
