It was Eric Hall, in his days as a record plugger who got the Sex Pistols on the Bill Grundy show after Queen dropped out, slight error of judgement there I reckon.
I know he probably helped start the sort of chicanery we all groan about with football agents, but I couldn't help chuckling at some of his outpourings. After Glenn Hoddle got sacked from the England job for his remarks about disabled people, they asked Eric Hall what he thought of him, bearing in mind that Hoddle had previously binned off one of his favourites Dennis Wise after he assaulted a taxi driver.
Erics response - "He's worse than Hitler!, worse than Hitler!". Which, coming from a Jewish person, is quite a condemnation.
