Looks like a good signing!0

5ft 6in
Maatsen joined Feyenoord's academy at the age of 7, but was dropped for allegedly being too small. He moved to Sparta Rotterdam and then PSV Eindhoven, before joining Chelsea in 2018.[7] On 25 September 2019, he made his debut for the London club as a substitute in a 7–1 EFL Cup victory over Grimsby Town.[8]

Bowyer mentioned that when we signed Levitt that all previous loan signings come with a recall clause so I wouldnt be surprisedMattF said:Any mention of a recall option?1 -

Spoke to my Chelsea supporting mate and he said Maatsen is very highly thought of. Looks a good signing to me.6

Bowyer says: "He’s exciting and different to what we have.”"
Yeah, sorry about that, Ben.

I see he's a Dutch youth international. Not sure what's going on at the moment in terms of youth football, but potentially another player to be called up for international duty?0

How many dutch players have we had who played for Charton. Struggling to think of any in the last 15 years or so?1

It'll be interesting if Bowyer plays him as an attacking full back (which is how we used DaSilva under Robinson) or as a wing back0
-
Anyway this looks like a great signing and should help us with our attacking game1
-
Rumours this is his old man
