Full season or Chelsea length season?16

Mate is a huge United fan and reckons he isn't a world beater and won't be breaking into their squad in the next year or so but is "far to good got league 1 and will piss it"7
-
I hadn't realised he played the full 90 for Wales on Thursday, indeed he played alongside Williams for 60 minutes
Something really weird that his only senior appearances (I don't count the EFL Trophy!) have been in the Europa league and for Wales3 -

Yeah it would be the first really stupid move from Bowyer / Gallen if it wasnt goodMattF said:I take it this is good news as that's our last available slot gon
In Bowyer and Gallen we trust.5 -
Made over 100 successful passes in that Europa league game.killerandflash said:I hadn't realised he played the full 90 for Wales on Thursday, indeed he played alongside Williams for 60 minutes

Great news but wrong position. We have how many midfielders now?0
-
Who was the last player we've either signed from man u or on loan. I can't think of any player. All the other big clubs I could name a couple but man u comes up blank0

We'll get injuries, looks a good prospect, competition for places. Maybe it was the only one we could get done under the embargo before the opening game?
Come on TS!0 -
Easy swap for the tequila song0

Think that's enough CM's now, a winger, striker and 3 defenders please0
-
Maybe. Seems strange we are signing loan midfielders when we have loads and no defence.SexyDave said:We'll get injuries, looks a good prospect, competition for places. Maybe it was the only one we could get done under the embargo before the opening game?

If he is as good as Giggs says, then if we wait until after we sign defenders etc, we could miss out on a good prospect10

I guess the height test has been done away with, in favour of "Is there a pulse?"7

Bowyers mates with Nicky Butt from there Newcastle days too so maybe unlikely to recall him early!1

For the first time in ages I've looked at a video of a new player and felt genuinely excited. No offence to our other signings, it's more circumstances around the club.carly burn said:
Strange video though with all the goal action coming at the end. For a while I was thinking, shit we've signed a player that's jinxed, none of his mates can score off of him. Alright in the end though.

Underwhelming based on this, fortunately he'll be judged on the pitch.Callumcafc said:Made his international debut last week. Nothing mind blowing in here but gives a realistic view of what we can expect from him over the course of 90 mins.

Looks more like a Sam Field than a Gallagher. With far fewer tackles than either.

Going out on a limb to say it's very unlikely he'll be recalled in January, would hope we're not going to see a repeat of the situation we had with Gallagher that meant he left.
But just in case, go fuck yourself Swansea14 -

U23s so always tough to draw conclusions, but looks a tidy player. There’s an opening for a “get-it give-it” type midfielder now Cullen has gone. With Gilbey hopefully filling the Gallagher shaped hole, midfield looks in okay shape, if a bit thin for cover.carly burn said:2 -

aha as I got this right and was 1st to give you that little snippet
Might just pop over to the takeover thread to give my input0 -
"Skinny white sailor, the chances were slender
The beauties were brief."
Love it that he has the build of an old school tanner ball player and is named after a poet.
Welcome Dylan

Surprised Butt and Bowyer managed to keep their relationship quiet ....Bedsaddick said:https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/man-utd-international-joins-charlton-18897621

Good signing, although it's a bit risky.
We could honestly have 4 league 1 quality midfielders on the bench yet have Pratley, JJ, Mrs Bowyer and Basey making up the back 4.
I can't believe we would have made this kid, no matter how good he is, our only signing. Either the take over is days away or there are at least 2 out goings this week.
