Not bad at all,plenty of good football,going forward without the finish,being a bit hard on Baker Richardson,he is a trialist trying to lmpress and would have been a bit nervous,he had our 2 best chances and with a little more composure would have put one away,personally worth another look.Main concern is lack of strength in defence,especially if Lockyear goes as expected.1

I thought there were a lot of positives to take out of that game. First Palace goal was offside, second was an error from Phillips. Third was a bit soft to be honest. But defence from 60 mins was an u23 defence with a trialist. Prately looked a leader at the back playing well with Oshilaja - If we have to start with them two, it wouldn't be a disaster. Trialist striker had a couple of decent chances which he should have done better with.2

All things considered, the senior side held them scoreless. That wasn't as bad as we all thought. Sod the game though, the Great Dane was there 😍6

From that squad we've lost Bauer, Sarr, Solly, Dijksteel, Bielik, Cullen, Aribo, Grant and Taylor.
Our top five league scorers that season were Taylor, Grant, Reeves, Bielik and Vetokele, all of whom have left the club.
I think we'll need the takeover to happen quickly and some pretty major investment to follow if we're going to have a chance of winning the league. Even then, I'm not sure if enough could be done to bolster the squad given the additional restrictions that have been put in place this season.5 -
A little third division club will always lose to a big Premiership club.
The tragedy is that historically (sorry Katrien) for the majority of the time we would have been the big club and not that shower.10 -

Given our respective divisions, I am happier after watching that game as a Charlton fan than I would be as a Palace one.5
