Our starting XI 20/21

Haven’t started a thread for ages so thought I’d go for something funny given the current state of just about everything.

Maynard-Brewer
Oshilaja, Lockyer, Pearce, Purrington
Pratley
Morgan, JFC
Oztumer
Aneke, Davison

Subs: Lapslie, Wiredu, Dempsey, Vennings.

Assuming Phillips, Amos, Doughty, Page, Sarr, Williams, Bonne, McGeady, Hemed are all gone.

Is this our XI that are actually contracted?!

I'd probably take lockyer out too, if you're pulling players actually under contract presuing they'll be sold 👍

If Phillips goes, I reckon Amos will be offered a new deal. I think that we have more chance of keeping Bonne than Lockyer

but none of this matters when we are having trials on Woolwich common for players who want to play in the 10th tier for afc Charlton

Chris Solly will turn up and be turned down in favour of a 52 year old alcoholic, chain smoking asthmatic with gout from the Woolwich Wetherspoons.

I could probably accept the alcoholic bit, but luckily nowhere near 52 or gout yet.

I'd have thought you could have slotted Stevie Wonder in there up top, I mean he'd have as much chance of scoring as some of our previous strikers 😉.

I think Amos will stay if Phillips goes, where else will he end up. I doubt Lockyer, doughty And Bonne will stay so i havE excluded them

                            Amos

    lapslie  Oshi  Pearce   Purrington

         Morgan  pratley  Forster-caskey

                   Oztumer   Williams

                              Aneke

If Lockyer stays, oshi moves to right back. If Bonne stats, he starts up top with a diamond 4, rotated more

doughty will go and a few loans or frees will come in (subject to embargo lifted)

This will change depending on who remains, but I'd hope for something like this if we can keep those contracted:

    Phillips
    Oshilaja | Lockyer | Pearce | Doughty
    Pratley
    Morgan | F.Caskey
    Williams
    Aneke | Bonne

Subs: M.Brewer, Purrington, Lapslie, Oztumer, A.Loanee, B.Loanee, Davison
