Lose to Reading tomorrow and I'd be very very worried.
8 -
Chill, there's plenty of football left yet it's the next three games and four points plus our goal difference (assuming we don't start shipping shedfulls) and we'll be ok. It's in our own hands.2
-
Why... We'll still remain a point behind HuddersfieldSELR_addicks said:Lose to Reading tomorrow and I'd be very very worried.
Fair enough to get a little worried but wouldnt be too concerned still1 -
All season I have been confident of survival even the last few months when everyone else was panicking I have been confidentSELR_addicks said:Lose to Reading tomorrow and I'd be very very worried.
Lose tomorrow and it will be the first time I start to feel a bit worried about relegation0 -
If we lose tomorrow I'll only be a slightly bit worried if everyone else picks up a result - Remain in this position and I'll still be fairly confident of getting results against Birmingham and Wiganpaulie8290 said:

My only slight concern is the fact that games are running out - But they're also running out for teams recording results way worse than ours
Reading after all hammered Luton 5-0 last week so will be a challenge, just hope they're feel safe enough to relax now0 -
I can see them beating both QPR and Hull ...ForeverAddickted said:Dont think a win for either team is especially great for us
Luton finish with QPR - Hull - Blackburn so think they'll still struggle to get much more than one more win so just need to keep three points above them in particular thanks to the goal difference
Shows the quality of the relegation battle that even Barnsley / Luton arent giving up yet0 -
If we can’t beat Reading at home then I definitely wouldn’t be confident of getting a result against Wigan9
-
Think both games are 50/50 could go either wayLargeAddick said:

I don't want to think about losing tomorrow but LB will at least know what needs doing and not to rely on Wigan, Wednesday or any other miracle.

If they do, good luck to them, we can't control what other teams do only ourselves.LargeAddick said:

Just depends what Reading side turns up. If its the one that thrashed Luton 5-0 then yes, be very worried.SELR_addicks said:Lose to Reading tomorrow and I'd be very very worried.3 -
So if we lose to Reading you can see us getting a result against form team Wigan?ForeverAddickted said:

I have previously commented that Luton have massively improved since January, the 5-0 tonking a week ago was out of character to the rest of their recent performances. QPR, Hull and Blackburn are 3 games where you can easily see them picking up points
All along I've thought it really unlikely that 3 teams at the bottom would conveniently lie down and get relegated quickly. Luton could survive, and so could Wigan1 -
We play Brum first.LargeAddick said:

I think Bowyer has us organised enough since the restart to ensure we dont get thrashed again this seasongolfaddick said:

My biggest concern is if the opposition score first, Millwall and Brentford took the lead albeit late in both games which can be demoralising for players but heads dropped massively when that happened1 -
If we can't beat Reading at home knowing what is at stake we deserve to go downValleyGary said:If we can’t beat Reading at home then I definitely wouldn’t be confident of getting a result against Wigan2 -

Ejaria out and Obita in and that was it and drew 0-0 to Huddersfield who we have seen tonight are poor lol1 -
Well yeah... Reading have been midtable all season, and they've got a Champions League standard GoalkeeperLargeAddick said:

If we beat Wigan then I reckon that's them gone. If Wigan beat Barnsley tomorrow then I reckon that's them gone too. Just need to pick up 5 points from our next 3 games. Not lose any of them & we're safe.killerandflash said:I have previously commented that Luton have massively improved since January, the 5-0 tonking a week ago was out of character to the rest of their recent performances. Easier said than done though.

This league is so up and down. Luton beat Swansea away and draw at Leeds then get dicked 5-0 at home by Reading. You think they're demoralised and done for, then they go and win 2-0 tonight.5

We only deserve to go down if after 46-games we're one of three teams with the lowest pointsblackpool72 said:

Am glad for Nathan Jones though as an ex-Charlton coach its good for him personally that Stoke were the issue and not his management style when he was there0

No sign of it affecting Wigan when they beat QPR on Wednesday, if anything it's made the players more determinedForeverAddickted said:

Or did it help Wigan that they faced a QPR who certainly are on the beach which is why Luton's game against them is rightly another to keep a wary eye onkillerandflash said:

like our 4-0 loss at Huddersfield, these results just happen .. remember we've beaten Leeds and drawn twice against WBA .. this League is unpredictable (except for us losing to MIllwall)Chris_from_Sidcup said:This league is so up and down. If we still go down below Wigan and Chef Wendy then we truly dont deserve to be a Championship team next season2 -
It’s horrible but you got to love it haha!I live in Bedfordshire and most of my mates are Luton! I would love to see them stay up, not at the expense of us though!I agree with what was said earlier, win tomorrow and I think we are ok! Hudders look bang in trouble, as do Stoke....both with tough tough run ins!1

Wigan beat Barnsley tomorrow and then Hull, they would only need to beat us to stay up.ForeverAddickted said:

Not sure I agree with the players have stuff playing on their mind, they beat QPR in the week.4
