Arjen Robben who retired in 2019 has announced after discussions with his boyhood club he will train with them and if and when he feels ready he will join the first team.

He said he made the decision to help the club during the economic crisis and after speaking to the owners and listening to the fans.

Dont throw logic at me lol.

We can't get anyone who started at our youth to come out of retirement and come back or we would end up Tuna lol

Perhaps now he's got a reputation as a good egg, Jermain Defoe would like to come back and repay the debt he owes.

Who would be in your top five, say?

    I would probably go for:
    Minto
    Konchesky
    Parker
    Defoe
    Lisbie

...but I have probably missed out some obvious ones.

Unless we're specifically taking retired players...

It's a bit difficult to come out of retirement otherwise....

Defoe is still playing, which rules him out!

Yann would be a good call, as he's only just retired

Paul Walsh - one of the most skilful players we have ever produced.

Under the old 4-4-2 Walsh didn't seem to fit as he was neither an out and out forward nor a winger. With the flexible formations that have evolved over the years he would be superb especially in a front three.

I would imagine Bowyer could still cut it at Championship level - although the job he's doing now is far more important.

  • Didn't we essentially get Bowyer out.of retirement to manage us.  Best decision ever frankly.

Parker would do me. Well, he wouldn’t DO me do me, but he’d be my choice.
