Doesn't say in that article that he is refusing to play BEFORE June 30th, just afterwards....which he is entitled to do. Just seems to be our 2 players who are in breach of contract then.paulie8290 said:

Step forward Hull CIty. 2 points in 11 games.superclive98 said:
Bloody typical. We have always been the team that you want to play if you are in a terrible run of form.stackitsteve said:
Only missed 1 league game up until New Year’s Day but hasn’t played since.ForeverAddickted said:
Will be a big loss for them... Middlesbrough's issue has been scoring goals rather than keeping them outpaulie8290 said:

Lose one of your main defenders though...
Not that I know how much he's been involved
That coincides with their worst run of form (their only win since new years day was in SE7).4 -

We understand Ayala was offered a substantial, long-term deal by Boro earlier in the season but has now played his last game for the club after nearly seven years on Teesside.
That makes it sound like he won't be playing, whether its because he has refused to or whether its because Woodgate has said if you wont play all 9 then you cant play the next 3 is unclear

Sorry if its already been said but what happened with what you said with him training and playing till 30th ?3 -
I don’t really have an issue with players saying they won’t play after their June 30th contract expiry, they’ve fulfilled their contractual commitment at that point.paulie8290 said:golfaddick said:

I'd prefer contracts for players were for X gameweeks. It would deal with this issue entirely.
You are contracted for 23, 46, 69, 92 etc or 19, 38, 57, 76 etc game weeks which could have a clause to change up or down with relegation depending on the league you're in.
The details can be worked out by those in the game that have relevant knowledge and are much smarter than I.2 -

Never thought Lyle and Marcus Maddison would have so much in common.0
-
Is he doing this on purpose? Like when you want to split up with your girl/boyfriend but don't want them to start crying so you piss them off so much they tell you to f*** off. And then you do.0

Just ignore him. Charlton is dead to him, so make it both ways.16

Hope we still ain’t paying for that wanker to be playing golf while the rest of the lads are putting a shift in at training to get us out of the mess that he helped create...8

The golf clubs hanging out of it might be a clue !Coyotejohn1947 said:ForeverAddickted said:

Don’t wish him to suffer any injury as such but I hope he is absolutely useless for his new team and misses an open goal in the last minute to equalise against their most bitter rivals and never recovers from the subsequent ridicule.
Also hope he accidentally treads on a kitten’s tail and that Nicko splashes it across the back page of the paper he pretends to be a journalist for.
’TAYLOR DELIBERATELY MAIMS FLUFFY’5 -
I haven't read all the recent posts so apologies if this has been answered but what are the rumours about where Taylor is thought to be heading?0

Somewhere far better than the continuous on-loop pantomime that is Charlton Athletic.3
-
0 f**** where he goes, like any player who leaves us, I no longer invest in their career or well being.8

Easy to say in hindsight but this season extension has never happened in the entire history of football.Dazzler21 said:I'd prefer contracts for players were for X gameweeks. It would deal with this issue entirely.

Potentially worth considering for the future though.2 -

Once a player leaves that's it he's gone.
I would rather focus my attention on the players who are at the club.5 -

Must have caught it just before it moved back lol.0 -
To be fair to Lyle, he is getting more abuse than Solly or any of the Hull players, a 5 minute google shows this behaviour is heavily aimed at Taylor from all angles, media, club fans and other club fans...4

shame1

Well our players were the first ones to announce they wouldn't be playing at all, and inevitably the first ones make the headlines. Lyle is a big fish on social media too, whereas Solly keeps himself to himself and has said nothingDazzler21 said:To be fair to Lyle, he is getting more abuse than Solly or any of the Hull players, a 5 minute google shows this behaviour is heavily aimed at Taylor from all angles, media, club fans and other club fans...
