Which car, from TV or the movies, would you most like to own?

and why?

I adore Vanishing Point, so a 1970 Dodge Challenger is high on my list.
Jack Regan's Ford Consul GT always raises a smile.

But I'm going for the Aston Vantage from Living Daylights - less obvious than others,  Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, for its safety features

    Starskey's   - colles5 car from the 70's

    or

Terry's Capri that Arthur sold him. Always wanted a Capri & never got to drive one.

The MK1 Escort RS2000 from Fast and Furious 27. It’s just like one of my first cars, only it’s not a fake, it’s not rusty, and I haven’t seized its engine.

The Gran Ford Torino from Starsky and Hutch.

They’re not actually that expensive. There was a guy in Nottingham selling a lovely one on EBay last year that struggled to get past £15k.

Was talking to an owner at an American race day at Brands Hatch a couple of years ago who admitted they’re not the greatest drive. Would still love one though.

The TVR Tuscan from Swordfish with the purple/green flip-flop paint.

I say this because I used to have one (actually a faster model than the one in the film) and wish I'd never sold it.  Even though I know these days I could barely manage to get in it.

I also wouldn't mind the Anglia 105e from the Potter movie.

The first car I ever owned (not the actual Harry Potter one though!).

Chitty chitty bang bang would be ace. Failing that, Kit from Knight Rider. Third choice, the Mitsubishi that Jackie Chan and Richard Kiel drove in cannonball run II

VERY up-market - mine was an Anglia van.  There's a '66 one for sale at £14k at the moment - mine was fifty quid!

    Morse's Jag wouldn't be bad.

Cars are a means of getting from A to B and not much more for me really but I do like the classic look of that.

OK - the Miura because I believe it's the most beautiful car ever made (close call with the E-Type and 246 Dino) - and The Italian Job was one of the greatest films ever made, just capturing the 60s perfectly.

The Mussie - well for the car chase, of course, but also for Steve McQueen my favourite actor of all time and the coolest man who ever lived! His style, still relevant today (for me anyway) - I wear Harrington Jackets because of McQueen, desert boots because of McQueen, even sunglasses (Persol folding) - and the favourite watch in my collection is because it was Steve McQueen's watch of choice.
