    Great actor - My favourite film of his was Escape to Victory but we can't forget he was Ming the Merciless in Flash. R.I.P.

    It hasn’t got many if any mentions in the obituaries or tributes I’ve read, but the first film that came into my head when I heard the news was ‘The Greatest Story Ever Told’ where he played Christ.

    A fine actor.
