Millwall on the move?

Only if the police are encouraged/told/forced, as dog owners are, to pick/clean it up afterwards.Fanny Fanackapan said:

This isn't going to end well.
Plans for horse poo both inside AND outside the Den ?1 -
Things are looking more positive for Millwall, according to this report.

Good. Would be grotesque for land developers 'Renewal' to turf out Millwall. But it does indicate the dangers of not owning your ground!1

The previous redevelopment plan stank, especially for a Labour councilthewolfboy said:Good. Would be grotesque for land developers 'Renewal' to turf out Millwall. But it does indicate the dangers of not owning your ground!

Glad it’s getting resolved. Toolbox is a shithole anyway. They are well suited.0

I am pleased they are staying, but hope they are not playing any part in the development.0

I had a Millwall on the move earlier... double flusher!0

Bumping an old thread rather than starting a new one..... .3

Who would fund that ? The club do not own the New Den so cannot use monies from sale of current real estate. Would Lewisham Council spend taxpayers money or would the stadium be tied into new development cost of regeneration of area and funded by developers. Can’t see that being overly popular but what do I know.0
-
No chance of that happening, but it's a nice looking artist's impression...
No way have they got the finances to take a perfectly acceptable (if dull) 20k stadium and completely rebuild it. It would be pointless too. An expanded main stand with more function rooms, lounges and boxes, that might happen though0 -
Looks like West Ham’s London Stadiums shittier neighbour the velodrome1

Hmm still prefer this...

Just feeling another Millwall on the move...0

Is someone having a laugh in making it look like the Colosseum on the outside?1

About a 0.5% chance of that Millwall stadium development ever happening, but it’s nice to give people due for early release something to live for - “don’t shank that screw, you might be able to go to a pretend hypothetical stadium if you can just adhere to your parole conditions”.For a very start they’ll have to begin selling out for games against teams other than Charlton, which has proven a huge issue since they built the new stadium. Best of luck to them, I’d imagine the catastrophe of Universal Credit has impacted the liquidity of their average fan which has a dampening effect on attendances, but at least they have (misplaced) ambition.9

It looks like a prison.

What do they need a new stadium for anyway?
A. The current one isn't exactly old.
B. Their average crowd this season is less than 14k.
Be a complete waste of time and money.1 -

The anger in this thread is both comical and a fascinating insight into the minds of some.
I'm easy either way. It's really not worth the vein popping.4 -

I believe our Chairman will fund, or will raise funding, the aspects concerning the ground.1

Interesting.
I look forward to being locked in there for hours post game whilst contemplating yet another usual warrior- like derby performance from our lads in future.4
