Now scored more goals for us in all competitions than Yann Kermorgant4

Sweepstake on when he'll be sold? I'm going 21st January2

Terrific player. Best on the pitch last night even though he did a few fish jumping routines.0

Brentford are flying, 9 wins in 14 games, 4th in the table and in Mbeumo and Watkins have 2 of the divisions leading scorers.
It's quite possible that they don't even want Taylor any more, as unless they sell someone they're not going to break up a really good strike pairing. And are they going to pay him 20k a week to sit on the bench?1 -
According to the Daily Mail, Sheffield United are interested in Taylor. The last player they bought from us was Ricky Holmes and his stay at Bramall Lane was disastrous.0

True, but irrelevant. He would be mad not to go there.Isawsummersplay said:According to the Daily Mail, Sheffield United are interested in Taylor. The last player they bought from us was Ricky Holmes and his stay at Bramall Lane was disastrous.3 -

I know they were sniffing around Bradley Dack at the beginning of the season but he’s injured so A striker is something they’re looking forIsawsummersplay said:According to the Daily Mail, Sheffield United are interested in Taylor. Dack isn’t a striker and couldn’t be anymore different to Lyle Taylor in playing style.oohaahmortimer said:

Dack is a goalscorer then2

A worryingly sensible rumour.Isawsummersplay said:According to the Daily Mail, Sheffield United are interested in Taylor. The last player they bought from us was Ricky Holmes and his stay at Bramall Lane was disastrous.0 -

He's not yet match fit. Played more than he would have done because of the lack of available players.9

I thought he did ok 1st half especially considering how weak the midfield has been.roseandcrown said:Looking a shadow of himself over last couple of games.Could well be fitness but his body langue says it’s something more.2 -
His body language after Alfie scored the winner was he was knacked, so he is far from 100% fit. In the two games since its a nightmare being a striker with a poor service.roseandcrown said:Looking a shadow of himself over last couple of games.Could well be fitness but his body langue says it’s something more.

Bloke is coming back from a long term injury, and has got two goals and an assist in a team which are struggling overall. Yet because he potentially may be moving away from the club apparently his 'body language' is showing he does not care......19

Where have I said he does not care?FishCostaFortune said:Bloke is coming back from a long term injury, and has got two goals and an assist in a team which are struggling overall. What did you mean by 'Could well be fitness but his body langue says it’s something more' then?roseandcrown said:

That something else could be anything from struggling himself, finding it frustrating in this side, problems on mind, club wanting to sell him anything other than just fitness.
you have assumed something that I literally did not say.I have never accused Lyle of not caring. In fact I thought and mentioned it at the time he handle his possible move in the summer well and professional.3 -
Fair enough, I read into what you said another way so I apologies for that. Either way I think you are applying some form of confirmation bias to a view point that you think Lyle is acting differently/has behind the scenes problems. Apart from maybe understandably not being as match sharp as he would like to be, I see nothing different in the way he is acting to how he was pre-injury.roseandcrown said:FishCostaFortune said:

I don’t remember players needing a month to get up to speed after being out for two and half months..... it seems like he has been back for ages and he still can’t play more than 45 mins?
Doesn’t add up to me. I get players need a couple of games off the bench but he returned a month ago.... how long to get over two months out?2 -
I possibly may be reading to much into him just being tired and/or lacking match fitness and seeing things not there but as said just a feeling I got.FishCostaFortune said:
