    My guess is there isn't as much money "on paper" as a lot of people think.  Not sure the EFL except "my boss is loaded" as proof of funds.

    My guess is that the EFL wish to investigate thoroughly as overseas structures can often be opaque.  Further, I suspect that they have had to request additional information due to this and Christmas holidays mean every firm is working on a skeleton staff.  People should chill.  It will happen when and if it happens.

    I said a couple of days ago that I wonder if it will be the 1st to help Douchatelet get his money in his new financial year and therefore not having to pay the tax this financial year which ends for him tomorrow??.

    Maybe he wants the bank the capital gain this year so he can right the loss off against it?

    Exactly, quite clear he wanted this done before 2019 ended. If it’s going to piss him off, happy to wait an extra couple of days. Not too long though? I still expect it to be announced back end of the week.

    Maybe the Communications Team is having IT problems which is preventing the announcement being uploaded onto the CAFC website. They are trying to say that the takeover is no longer imminent but a done deal! 

    I say this as I went into the Coop earlier and their system had crashed so it can happen to any organisation! 

    It’s happened! Rollout the gif. 

    Now bugger off Roland!

    If it is all done I doubt the club would announce it today and potentially disrupt preparations for the match tonight. 

    More than likely an announcement tomorrow if it has been all sewn up today.

    I've also read elsewhere that it's done and will be announced early in New Year, with all staff meeting new chairman soon after announcement.
