    Maybe he has told Bowyer he hasn’t got to sell his best players for pittance, that he will finally get a proper contract and that money is there. That would be strange for Bowyer as he has probably only ever heard “huh” from his current employer.

    Could he mean strange as in the type of money/ambition they have is strange for Charlton? Not seen the interview as at the ground

    Considering the only owner he has worked under is RD, I guess anything slightly normal will appear strange to him.

    At least thats what I am hoping he meant.

    I admire some of the optimism on here but “strange” does not sound good to me. This is starting to smell dodgy.

    Cracked it - Strange that they want to shell out a few bob as soon as the window opens, even though they're not scheduled to take over until later in Jan?
