An honest appraisal of the game from Jason P there, those of us who travelled were not over reacting or panicking, now both the manager and captain have both come out and agreed, it was not good enough and they didnt give it their all.

Looking forward to exercising the Riverside ghost tomorrow night and putting a halt to Huddersfields 105 year unbeaten run (under lights, on a Tuesday, during General Election week).

    Up the Addicks!

Just like to say to the players and the Bowyer no apology needed.
An off day for the boys, even the best teams have an off day.
I can't put me finger on it and I don't know if I'm the only one.
But if we hadn't of had the start to the season we did 23 points and were sitting here now on 12 points things wouldn't seem so bad.
I said 4 games ago I couldn't see where the next point was going to come from and still for the next few games can't see where it's coming from with the team were having to put out.
Where we've been unfortunate having coming through a tough run of games taking was it 8 points from 9 , we were left with enough players for a six a side game.
This came about the time the fixtures became easier.
So for me so far this season.
A f@cking amazing effort from the boys, Bowyers had as much money to spend as I took to Boro Saturday and we've still punched above our weight all season.
With a bit of luck injuries might become less now and we can add a couple in January.
If not though we go with the players we've got and I'm sure they'll be fighting till the end of the season.

    Agree @clb74
The Forest 1st half to the 90 minutes at Middlesbrough. From the sublime to the Ridiculous. We all need to be on the same page now, and realize what this season's plan is; forget the 5 year plan because that gets torn up if we keep losing and certain players aren't here in January or we can't find a fit squad to see us through till May.

100% backing for Bowyer and coaches But we need Sam Field, Cullen, Williams and Taylor fit to make sure we finish mid table while a complete spring clean to get rid of the stench of Duchatelet's ownership of our club.
I feel we will be fine as long as the noisy minority dont turn as I worry after so many couldn't leave the ground quick enough after the 3rd goal against Wednesday.
Never have Taylor's talismanic skills been needed than against Huddersfield.
If the fans can keep our nerve while we declense Cafc we will have a bright future.
Hopefully this game was our Nadir.
We can't afford to play that shite again and Jason has confirmed that.

I think you can excuse a lack of quality, especially with the players we have out but not wanting it as much as your opponents is harder to forgive. The problem is, Pearce won't be the first player following a poor performance to say something similar. Ultimately, actions speak louder than words.
  • Flew over from Ireland with my son and grandson to watch this game. Appreciate the apology from the team. Prefer to see some decent football from them this week against Huddersfield and Hull.
  • It'll only get worse - we're there on Tuesday...
    Told ya. :'(
