Yes bring back Floyd and Harvey and bin Katrien's puppets alongside the sofa.6

I can’t be there today (fancy rescuing my club the day before an early kick off, I had plans man) but if Floyd and Harvey come out instead of the tin-man and the turkey, that’s when the tear in my eye would start.
Somebody should make this happen....3 -
May I suggest that we don't have 'mascots' as they are all a bit naff. Why not have a different supporter each match do the job. He or she can dress up any costume they want.1
-
Honestly think we should bring back Floyd and Harvey, get the club back to how we were before Roland.
How can we do this?
Petition?
Bring it up at fans meeting?2 -

Nonsense. The Kids love mascots . If you dont like them just ignore them .jimmymelrose said:May I suggest that we don't have 'mascots' as they are all a bit naff. Why not have a different supporter each match do the job. He or she can dress up any costume they want.3 -
yep il also put it out there that I want Floyd & Harvey bak too,my 9yr old daughter never stops asking “why can’t we have them back” also...
rid the angry bird & knight thingy...👍1 -
Would love Harvey and Floyd back....1

They're not designed for my age group, but Floyd and Harvey were better in every respect. Sir Valiant looks hard and plasticky and straight out of a pre packed fancy dress kit, Robyn looks dopey. Together, they are completely incongruous. Typical Meire mess ups.6

Harvey and Floyd were proper Charlton.2

Apparently the new owners have already ordered new Sir Valiant and Robin outfits.0

I don't dislike them as such, just don't see the point and my kids are ambivalent towards them. As a compromise, I think it would be funny to let different supporters have a go. The goal celebrations would be far more varied and crazy.

Hopefully the new Robin looks a lot less like someone who can see their impending death
The eyes on that thing have seen things no mascot should ever have to witness

There's a point in every club ownership when it all starts to go wrong.9 -
I wonder whether they have a camel in mind.....
....which poses the question " One hump or two ?"1 -
Inviting random adults to spend an afternoon with kids. What could possibly go wrong?jimmymelrose said:May I suggest that we don't have 'mascots' as they are all a bit naff. Why not have a different supporter each match do the job. He or she can dress up any costume they want.8 -

Maybe they could have a no holds barred fight off as prematch entertainment against Hudders.0

Am I the only one who wasn't remotely bothered when Floyd and Harvey were taken to the vets to be put down pensioned off?
It's not as if a random cat and dog have any great connection to us, the current mascots aren't great but have more connection to our history.4 -
Harvey and Floyd have both really struggled since they were sacked by the club. Neither has found a new job and both have spent time homeless - sad that some show so little sympathy.

Should have gone to Ebbsfleet like all the other Charlton exiles!hoof_it_up_to_benty said:Harvey and Floyd have both really struggled since they were sacked by the club. Neither has found a new job and both have spent time homeless - sad that some show so little sympathy.0 -

If it's history you're after, the mascot ought to be a HADDOCKkillerandflash said:Am I the only one who wasn't remotely bothered when Floyd and Harvey were taken to the vets to be put down pensioned off?

Not only commemorates the origins of "Addicks", but also all those fish puns on the Sale of Charlton thread- although I'm not sure how itcould be made any more cuddly for younger kids than the plastic knight!
