I must be the only person on CL who wants Liverpool to win the league.
As a kid in the 70’s + 80’s they were always the number one team and used to love watching the likes of Rush, Keegan, Toshack, Dalgleish etc especially in the European Cup.
When we got promoted in ‘86 the first fixture I looked for was Liverpool away. Was inconsolable when my uncle chose this date to get married. I thought we’d come straight back down and it would be my only chance to see us play at Anfield (thankfully it wasn’t)0 -
They seem to get worse every week. His feet were behind the defenders as he started his run, yet a slight part of his shoulder was about 1cm beyond Tomori. That is not a clear and obvious error.Fortune 82nd Minute said:Another absolutely ludicrous VAR decision.
VAR is absolutely ruining the game and i've noticed recently that more and more pro's are posting on twitter lately calling for it to be scrapped.0 -
I'd certainly prefer Liverpool to win it than City, Chelsea, Arsenal or Man UDaveMehmet said:I must be the only person on CL who wants Liverpool to win the league.

This was Sterlings disallowed goal

Only his arm is offside(which u cant legally score from) so why was it disallowed0 -
Crazy, isn't the defender's arm further ahead of the line anyway? As I swapped Sterling out of Fantasy Football team this week though, happy to see him not getting more pointspaulie8290 said:This was Sterlings disallowed goal

Its offside then. It just means now they have to be consistent. Even an eyelash should be offside. Sterling has lovely long lashes so will be offside a lot.
Its embarassing that the so called best league in the world is using VAR so poorly compared to other leagues0 -
I can’t even agree that Sterlings arm is offside as it looks like the last mans arm is playing him on. All for VAR but the mess it’s making for offside decisions is embarrassing.paulie8290 said:This was Sterlings disallowed goal

In that picture Zouma's arm is playing him onside surely0

Ironically they cant be including Zouma's arm as you cant score with your arm!!sam3110 said:In that picture Zouma's arm is playing him onside surely0 -
What about his arsecheek? That seems to be playing him onside too0

Not counting the arms as they are both offside, Zoumas arse is ahead of Sterlings body, so Sterling was Onside0

Used to love em back then as well but as the years have gone by and their comparative lack of success has continued , their whingeyness and sense of entitlement has got right on my tits and I want them to fail .DaveMehmet said:I must be the only person on CL who wants Liverpool to win the league.

saying that if they win the league I’d not mind them winning it again after .
know too many Liverpool fans and would prefer they continue to suffer , I don’t know any Man City fans so if they win it there’s no gloating going on

Always have had a soft spot for Norwich, really hope they do stay up but if they don't. Norwich Away next year is always a decent Away trip 🖒killerandflash said:Massive win for Norwich that, keeps them in touch with the other teams down there.0 -
To be honest it's not even VAR that's the problem, it's the complete morons we have running it.
How anyone whether a casual viewer or a seasoned ref of 20 years can look at the Sterling image and go 'yeah that's a clear and obvious error, how has the linesman given that goal, you must disallow it'
Just leave the final decision to the ref and only over rule if it's a glaring mistake. The game will be much better for it.1 -
Another problem that’s manifested itself is some refs seem to have the thought of “oh, that was a tough decision, I won’t give it and if it’s wrong VAR will correct it anyway”
then VAR don’t want to be seen to overrule the ref too often and so the decision is ignored.
like a vicious circle where nobody wants to actually take charge of the game1 -
That is onside all day long and has nothing to do with the fact that Sterling is in my dream team.Person who made that decision should be asked to provide an explanation as they either have a hidden agenda or are cheating.1

Liverpool are gonna win the league and life will never be the same. Insufferable dickheads.2

Sheffield United create a good atmosphere before the game with their song. Wish we’d do that with Valley Floyd Road instead of the red red robin

I wished more people would sing Red Red Robin.JoshAddick said:Sheffield United create a good atmosphere before the game with their song. Wish we’d do that with Valley Floyd Road instead of the red red robin
Last season I was the only one around me who used to sing it.
I remember a time when everyone sung it lol0 -

Gary Neville fuming at Man U, who are awful, on Sky. Commented about Harry Maguire berating his fellow defenders and said he needs to sort his own shit out first.1

Any decent manager would have made changes to the shape during the first half. Ole just sat there like a corpse. With Poch available he has to go.0
-
Phil Jones is an awful footballer, how he gets into any premiership side, let alone Man Utd is a mystery
Aside from anything resembling technique or skill, He looks unfit and overweight1 -
Pretty certain it was shitpaulie8290 said:

What an amazing pass for Sheff Utds second.0

Just can't understand why Wilder turned us down for his progressive home town club who, if this result remains, will be in 5th place in the PL0

Clear and obvious does not apply to offside decisions.Chris_from_Sidcup said:To be honest it's not even VAR that's the problem, it's the complete morons we have running it.
