It's October and your feelings about the CL Prediction League are likely to depend on where you are in those League tables that tell the truth. If you are in Premier League, there is a feeling of vulnerability as a couple of bad weeks might see you down amongst the also-rans. If you are in the Championship, there's the hope that two good weeks and you can show those high-fliers a thing or two. If you are in League 1 or League 2, there's a lingering feeling that unless you start to move up a League or two soon that you will have to concentrate on the Cup this year. Those slipping to the bottom of League 2 and into the lesser leagues like me probably have that feeling that they are just unlucky and that your luck will change soon.
So, here we go with Week 9. A week, I feel, when you can predict with confidence if you are on a roll. Or, if things are not going so well, you just know that you are going to be let down by teams that you can normally count on.
