Before people say Messi dont deserve it, its an individual award, not a team award as a team Barcelona only won La Liga but Individually Messi was
La Liga Top Goalscorer
La Liga Top Assists
Champions League Top Goalscorer
Champions League Forward of the Tournement0 -

If De Bruyne stays fit and doesn’t make the team next season it’s beyond a joke. He’s unplayable when he’s performing like he is at the moment. Far better than Modric for example.3 -
Certainly question how there can be only two Liverpool players when the rest didnt even get close to the Champions League Final for example
Fair enough I cant argue about de Ligt or de Jong but to have Real Madrid / PSG / Chelsea players in there continues to show its pretty much about marketing
Yes Mbappe has done well but what about Salah or Mane even Kane over him this year? - and Hazard over de Bruyne?0 -

Am sorry but if thats the best example you can find for a Fair Play award then christ those people should be taking a good look at themselves!!0 -
Marcelo is a ridiculous choice, he had a poor season by his standards, a season when Real were 19 points behind Barcelona
Maybe he played well for Brazil. I guess Andy Robertson suffered from playing for a weak national team0 -
Mbappe didn't get in because of 'hype'. He scored 39 goals in 43 games, that's why he got in.
De Bruyne missed half the season through injury so that's likely why he didn't get in.
Hazard had a great season, scoring over 20 goals and Chelsea won the Europa league, so i guess there's a fair argument for his inclusion. But if you're going to include him as a midfielder when i'm sure he played as a left sided attacker, then you could argue you might as well put Mane in there instead.
But the Madrid selections are just bizarre.
Marcelo over Robertson?
Ramos in the team as the right back?
Modric in there ahead of any Man City midfielder?

Probably the worst 'awards' of the season. That World XI is laughable. The three Madrid players is just taking the piss.0
