Gallagher: 8.5 (MOTM) - Gets an extra mark for the goal, grew into the game after a slow start
Williams: 8 - Shows his ability at this level
Leko: 7 - Feel he needs to pass a little bit more, another great signing though
Taylor: 7.5 - Took his goal really well
Aneke: N/A (7) - A big strong player who'll be a problem for any team in the Championship
Lapslie: N/A (6) - Neat cameo, came on and held his position
Referee: 6 - Not a bad performance, felt he was better than the official last week

Phillips: 6 - distribution a little iffy at times but he will be fine
Solly: 6 - looked a little vulnerable in the second half
Lockyer: 7 - looks a good footballer and was reasonably solid, save for one very poor pass that could have cost us
Pearce: 8 - good leadership and organisation at the back
Purrington: 7.5 - looks very comfortable at this level and got forward well on a few occasions
Cullen: 8.5 - the fulcrum of the side. Let's just hope we can keep him beyond the January window
Pratley: 8 - a performance full of energy that belied his 34 years. Broke up numerous attacks and covered an immense amount of ground
Gallagher: 9 - looks like a player out of the top drawer
Williams: 8.5 - a super performance, full of running, trickery and invention
Leko: 7 - a promising debut. Lots of pace, energy and invention
Taylor: 7 - isolated in the first half but got his one opportunity on target. Came more into the game in the second half and crowned it with a lovely lay off for Gallagher's goal
Referee: 7 - seemed pretty competent and let the game flow

Phillips: 5 - very shaky in his distribution, although not helped by some poor passes from the defence
Solly: 5 - sloppy in the first half, better in the second
Lockyer: 6.5 - mostly very composed, good in the air, but confusion & hesitation at the back from goalkicks etc. nearly cost us
Pearce: 6.5 - same as Lockyer
Purrington: 7 - same as usual, very dependable. Crossing wasn't brilliant though.
Cullen: 8 - everywhere. Great play for Aneke's goal.
Pratley: 7 - good shift
Gallagher: 8 - looked a good player, linked our attacking play well. Cracking finish.
Williams: 8 - drove us forward and harried excellently when we didn't have the ball. MotM.
Leko: 7 - exciting player. We should play to his strengths more - leave him up for corners, play balls in behind. Has talent but not sure we made the most of it with our style of play.
Taylor: 8 - good finish, good flicked assist. Thank god we kept him.
Referee: fine
Aneke: n/a - good to start with a goal, but looked very confused out there. Was talking to Bowyer constantly about where to stand. Needs more clarity on his role by the looks of it

Phillips: 6 ... some uncomfortable moments with backpasses. Looked like he was beaten by a combination of wicked late swing and the wind but some doubt whether he was in the wrong position to start with (haven't seen the replay yet).

Williams: 8.5 ... great performance, combined well with Ben Purr on the left
Leko: 7.5 ... plenty of promise in this performance. With game time will come composure. With composure will come assists, goals, and a bloody big headache for oppo defences.
Taylor: 8 ... everywhere, as usual. Scored one, involved in most stuff ... but still seemed strangely subdued. Heaven help the rest of the division when he's back on fire.
Referee: 7.5 ... had a five-minute spell in the first half where he seemed to have forgotten his cards (dives by Ince and Gallagher, the late challenge on Williams) but otherwise wasn't noticed which is a good sign.
Aneke: n/a 7.5 ... good finish for his goal. Looking forward to seeing Mount Chuks in our side this season.
