    Very good at defending but we have to improve our attacks. Many easy mistakes in going forward and losing the ball.

    Phillips: 7 Unlucky with the own goal. Dealt with crosses very well yesterday.
    Lockyer: 8 Looked calm and confident. I think he is going to be important for us this year.
    Pearce: 8 Same comments at Lockyer. A real leader.
    Sarr: 6 Sloppy. It seemed to me that he wasn't sure where he should be playing. We looked more balanced when he went off.
    Dijksteel: 7 Seemed to get better as the game went on. Showed a lack of pace a few times in the first half.
    Purrington: 9 Mr consistency cranked it up a notch yesterday. Excellent game. Extra point for the goal.
    Forster-Caskey: 6.5 Seemed to be off the pace first half. Grew into the game.
    Pratley: 8.5 Seemed to be everywhere and worked so hard. What he lacks in finesse he makes up for in effort.
    Lapslie: 7 100% effort from this lad. His work rate is tremendous. Thought he looked a bit lightweight at times though.
    Williams: 6.5 Struggled to make an impact. Looked dangerous when he did get the ball.
    Taylor: 7 Another tireless display form Lyle despite being isolated for much of the game.
    Gallagher: 7 Looks like a class act.

    Referee: 7 No real complaints.
