    He was linked with Arsenal not long ago, but I don't think he has.

    He is not allowed to work until the 1st of Jan, he will be back in football perhaps the FA or Premier League. My money is on the FA.

    Ivan Gazidis got the Arsenal job. I played against him here in the CT O40 league and he was a decent player.

    He is still at the Valley every home game. Still has the same seat in Lower West. I sit across the aisle and back a bit. Only difference is that he doesn't wear a suit!

    By the timing of his resignation, the man clearly has a working crystal ball...though I bet even he didn't realise quite what a state we'd get ourselves into so quickly...

    I thought he was taking early retirement according to the sound bites coming out of the club when he left.
