What to do if your tickets don't arrive

Just got this by email confirming I'm on the list and saying when tickets are being sent out:
"The emails will be sent over this evening and tomorrow morning so you should receive them by tomorrow latest."
Doesn't fill me with hope as this is exactly what I was told this time yesterday. Is the ticket office open tomorrow? What are people meant to do if they don't come? How long does it take to send an email...

Staff (lots on duty) will be taking calls until 9pm.

This is what I’m saying. What happens if we don’t get the email. Where do we go? If lines are closed.ateamofcorygibbs said:Just got this by email confirming I'm on the list and saying when tickets are being sent out:"The emails will be sent over this evening and tomorrow morning so you should receive them by tomorrow latest."

As I said it’s really taken the enjoyment out of looking forward to it.1 -
Can't see why not. If you can get the QR code for each ticket on your phone then it's all good. Just pass the phone across your group or screenshot and send to others in the group.Baldybonce said:

Well that is surely good news isn't it ?ateamofcorygibbs said:Just got this by email confirming I'm on the list and saying when tickets are being sent out:"The emails will be sent over this evening and tomorrow morning so you should receive them by tomorrow latest."

It suggests that they don't down tools at 9pm.
It suggests that if all queries aren't dealt with by 9pm, they will continue working tomorrow to resolve all queries.
It takes seconds to send an e mail, but if you have hundreds of queries to resolve (probably have), then it will take as long as it takes.
Sit tight sounds like better news to me.
The ticket office will not be open as far as they have said from the start.1 -
In upto 73 attempts so far todayThe Prince-e-Paul said:Finally got through after 60+ calls. Advused will get an email for print at home tickets and to wait until 8pm before ringing again if not received. Fair enough. Worker said she'd got 47 emails to reply to and pile mounting. I don't blame the staff, they are just cogs in the system. keep ringing those that are trying 😀0 -
You're probably right, I'm just nervous, and likely to be for another 24 hours now!Covered End said:

Can anyone who has got through on lines tell me just how long the queue is once you manage to get on the end of it? My postman came at 12:15 but no tickets dropped through the door. I haven't been trying the phone line for long but getting REALLY frustrated by it already!!

Not too bad then. I need to pop out so I will keep trying on my mobile.

According to my phone log I only waited 8 minutes once I got into the queue - not bad considering I was 45 minutes on Wednesday! It appears to be pot luck when you call. Good luck!Duncan270566 said:Can anyone who has got through on lines tell me just how long the queue is once you manage to get on the end of it? Or take a screenshot of each barcode/ticket then send that to your friends phone's..that works also mate, they can then scan own ticketsWSS said:

Got through after many attempts. They are the agency and send your transaction details to Charlton who will send out an email to me with tickets...hopefully!1
-
In this day and age, you should be able to go into your order online, click a button "Request Email Ticket" and it should automatically void your original purchase and immediately send you a QR code.
I suppose this quick turnaround of tickets does not make it necessary for all events but it should be relatively simple to achieve.7 -
come on a forum and slag the club off, in all seriousness if people are worried about not having ticket stubs ( as using e ticket or print outs ) i can ask my group for any that don't want there's and will gladly post them to people.0

Believe it will be the one linked to the Fan ID and account the tickets were purchased on. But keep an eye on both as you said.robroy said:Do we know if they will email the email address Linked to the fan ID? Or the one I’ve been emailing on.

Ok here we go.
I managed to get through and spoke to a nice chap.
There are five working there today and they have lists of emails about 200 each. The calls are coming in thick and fast.
He said don't panic and we should get the ticket emailed today. The first emails are being sent at 5pm and they will send every hour until 9. If your tickets arrive in the post then they are void if they send you a new one.
I asked the question “what happens if no ticket is emailed and it’s tomorrow and you are closed”. He said they are an external company and will be open so not to worry. He also said that if it comes to the day then you can take your confirmation email and payment card to Wembley and they will print it for you. There will be two areas doing this from 11:30am. West stand and another.
He said there have been plenty of errors with people getting tickets with concession stamped on by mistake etc.
They are working to get it sorted and at least we have tomorrow and worst case can go on the day with the email confirmation.
Fingers crossed for all my fellow Addicks out there waiting like me.

It would be helpful for the club to update the information on the club website to reassure Charlton supporters that they have a contingency plan for those supporters who have not received tickets and can't get through on the phone line because the queue is full. I have tried lots of time and can't get through.Rudders22 said:https://www.cafc.co.uk/news/view/5ce7d64bd7b3f/important-information-for-fans-yet-to-receive-their-wembley-ticket

Just called the club on 03432 081 496 & met with the message 'this phone queue is full - do not email - (please go back to the information that tells you to phone the above number that tells you the queue is full & closed).
Tickets not arrived...…. can't get through to arrange duplicates as of yet.
I hope the managers are making arrangements to open the ticket office for calls on Saturday if it continues to be impossible to get through on the phone.
Its nice to have shiny ticket mementoes of the day but maybe they could have given the option for print at home tickets in the first place ?
Also it is worth considering that people may hang on for tomorrow's post if they know that the ticket office is going to be open tomorrow to deal with enquires for people who have not received their tickets.
Its not going to get easier to get through on the phone line after 5pm when people start returning home from work.
