Interesting. I find the evolution of “systems” and the use of data in the premiership over the last 5 years fascinating and entertaining to watch. It is is still great to have star players but increasingly we are seeing the importance of star coaches who have their own ideas and systems which they impose on their teams without compromise.

I had never heard the expression of over lapping center backs until a few weeks ago, I watched a video done by a performance analyst the other day. Fantastic stuff. Iirc curbs tries something similar with Rowett and HH before the former got injured.0
