    The end blocks of the West stand (upper and lower by the JS stand) are still closed

    No but hopefully it will give journalists a chance to have a dig at both of them about it. Last week everybody was raving how big the crowds were in the EFL this season but when it gets down to the climax games the crowd for the biggest clash could be half what it was for the normal league game

    Surprising that they have to really sell to their more casual fans the game on Sunday, when the team has everything to play for still. It's the lure of the sofa and jaffa cakes...

    Deduct 1,600 from 24,000 home seats = 22,400 sold, which is still & always has been @1,000 more than CAFC announce.

    Yeah don't blame Pompey fans at all. But there was me worried about having to play in front of 40,000 mackems.

    As we have housed away fans in the West stand before, Bournmouth spring to kind, if Donny sales are low, stick them in there and give us the Jimmy Seed then we would see an atmosphere.

    That has made me think.  What was the game we let home fans use the jimmy seed since we returned.  I’m gonna go for up until the Southend game in 94 when they opened the east stand....could be wrong, but reckon it was whoever we played before that.  I remember sitting in there a couple of times when we returned to the valley.  Definitely against Pompey in 93 when we lost on tv 1-0, almost a year after returning, and again possibly against Peterborough in the latter half of the 92/93 season, April time maybe.  I think one other time against Watford that same season but it’s pushing the limits of my memory as I was around 10 at the time 

    I’m sure there would’ve been a few on here who sat in there as well

    I was in the south stand for the 4-2 home win vs Chelsea, pretty sure it was that match. It was vs Chelsea anyway.

    I remember being in there with my dad for a 0-0 vs Middlesbrough at some point in the 90s. Konchesky played and a visiting West Ham supporter next to me was scornful of the number of foreign players in our team on the basis of his name.

    I was in the jimmy seed for the famous Leicester catalog game. 

    Was 17 got my first monthly wages and a season ticket was the first thing I bought but had to wait for the north upper to open.

    I sat I was in the South stand against Aston Villa. Around 2006 I think, we split it 50/50.

    Pretty sure my season ticket for 98/99 was in a sectioned Jimmy Seed stand....(far left side as you look at it, towards the East stand)

    I remember a game as a kid being in the Jimmy Seed where either we were in the top tier and the Oppo were in the bottom. Can’t remember who this was against and whether this was a regular thing back then?
