According to this article, Donny have sold 7000 tickets for Sunday’s match. I would have thought they would have sold a few more ...

Not surprised by the Pompey sales as it's a horribly expensive away trip. Really surprised by the low Sunderland numbers (by their standards), that shows their lack of confidence in their team.Chris_from_Sidcup said:Meanwhile in the other semi final Portsmouth haven't sold out their 2k allocation at Sunderland.
And quite remarkably, Sunderland have sold less than 24k home tickets for tomorrow night.2 -
Less than 5,000 available then_MrDick said:According to this article, Donny have sold 7000 tickets for Sunday’s match. I would have thought they would have sold a few more ...

Keepmoat holds 15,000 and we're taking 3,7001 -
Good. Sends a message to the EFL and SKY if those two can’t sell tickets for a massive game because of the inconsiderate schedulingChris_from_Sidcup said:Meanwhile in the other semi final Portsmouth haven't sold out their 2k allocation at Sunderland.

Sadly neither will give a ****.letthegoodtimesroll said:

No but hopefully it will give journalists a chance to have a dig at both of them about it. Last week everybody was raving how big the crowds were in the EFL this season but when it gets down to the climax games the crowd for the biggest clash could be half what it was for the normal league gameFortune 82nd Minute said:

The scheduling shouldn't affect the Sunderland fans thoughletthegoodtimesroll said:

Surprising that they have to really sell to their more casual fans the game on Sunday, when the team has everything to play for still. It's the lure of the sofa and jaffa cakes..._MrDick said:According to this article, Donny have sold 7000 tickets for Sunday’s match. I would have thought they would have sold a few more ...

3,800 Charlton on sunday. Can't wait8
-
East Stand A 393
East Stand B 191
West Stand Lower C 8
West Stand Upper M 2
Plus 1,000 yet to go on sale in the West.
Deduct 1,600 from 24,000 home seats = 22,400 sold, which is still & always has been @1,000 more than CAFC announce.1 -
Yeah don't blame Pompey fans at all. But there was me worried about having to play in front of 40,000 mackems.killerandflash said:

Even if we didn't sell another ticket the ground would look basically full and I cannot wait to see it.23

As we have housed away fans in the West stand before, Bournmouth spring to kind, if Donny sales are low, stick them in there and give us the Jimmy Seed then we would see an atmosphere.13
-
That has made me think. What was the game we let home fans use the jimmy seed since we returned. I’m gonna go for up until the Southend game in 94 when they opened the east stand....could be wrong, but reckon it was whoever we played before that. I remember sitting in there a couple of times when we returned to the valley. Definitely against Pompey in 93 when we lost on tv 1-0, almost a year after returning, and again possibly against Peterborough in the latter half of the 92/93 season, April time maybe. I think one other time against Watford that same season but it’s pushing the limits of my memory as I was around 10 at the timeSE7toSG3 said:As we have housed away fans in the West stand before, Bournmouth spring to kind, if Donny sales are low, stick them in there and give us the Jimmy Seed then we would see an atmosphere.
I’m sure there would’ve been a few on here who sat in there as well0 -
I was in the south stand for the 4-2 home win vs Chelsea, pretty sure it was that match. It was vs Chelsea anyway.

I remember being in there with my dad for a 0-0 vs Middlesbrough at some point in the 90s. Konchesky played and a visiting West Ham supporter next to me was scornful of the number of foreign players in our team on the basis of his name.cabbles said:

Think the last game was Stevenage.Sat in there with my grandson, they were singing "your only here for the fiver"0

The time of the game shouldn't have any bearing on the home fans though.letthegoodtimesroll said:

Reading online it just seems to be general dismay at how badly their season ended and zero confidence in them winning. Which is crazy as they're in exactly the same position they were in 2-3 weeks ago when they got over 40k for the Portsmouth league game.........win 3 games and get promotion.3 -
They know what's going to happen if they get us in the final though.Chris_from_Sidcup said:

Was 17 got my first monthly wages and a season ticket was the first thing I bought but had to wait for the north upper to open.3 -
We had fans in the JS stand for the hartlepool game.0
-
I sat I was in the South stand against Aston Villa. Around 2006 I think, we split it 50/50.2
-
Pretty sure my season ticket for 98/99 was in a sectioned Jimmy Seed stand....(far left side as you look at it, towards the East stand)3
-
I remember a game as a kid being in the Jimmy Seed where either we were in the top tier and the Oppo were in the bottom. Can’t remember who this was against and whether this was a regular thing back then?
