Have you managed to get tickets where you meet the required criteria? The Red Robin said:
Yes it is.Addickted said:Buying tickets for the play off games - assuming you meet the required criteria - is a piece of piss, a doddle, as easy as buying anything else online or over the phone.
The Club, in this instance, is not rubbish or a shit shower.

Amazing how 19,000 or so tickets have managed to be sold over two days - including a bank holiday, without much fuss.BR7_addick said:

After 70 minutes of being blocked by the club's error, multiple tweets, emails and phonecalls and £120 a year later for VG, yes. Is that an acceptable experience to you?Addickted said:

I'm laughing at you can now go to the ticket office and purchase tickets for the home leg 9 days away.palarsehater said:so you pay £120 for vg for most peoples sole reason being ticket priority it then doesnt work - and you cant complain or talk to anyone about it as they are busy.
But your not allowed down there in person for the away leg 4 days away
It's always been the ticket off is open for home leg purchases on Wed 15th-Fri 17th.
Why have the ticket office open for home game tickets but not away.
I should think the majority of fans have already got thier home tickets
It would be mayhem down there.
I should imagine they didn't open at all for 2 reasons.
1 They couldn't cope, due to too few staff.
2 If you're selling from the ticket office, online & an outsourced call centre, there could be difficulties.
There were problems for last seasons play off games, with needing to transfer data, so the ticket office & call centre knew what had been sold.1 -
So you've had to wait 70 minutes to get a ticket? I had to wait for 40, but was realistic enough to realise that many hundreds of others were trying to do the same thing.
Nobody forced you to buy Valley Gold, you only did that to jump the queue. Your decision.
This time 4 days ago the Club had no idea who, when or where we were playing.

807 aways left + 785 extra we can have.
1592 left in total.
If you can buy without a glitch, I still think they will make General Sale & am 99% confident you'll be ok at 2pm today.2 -
Surprisingly few IT problems considering the numbers involved. I thought the process for season ticket holders for the home game was over complicated, especially for ipad users, but overall the staff have done very well.
I am a bit surprised that so many have opted to phone for tickets. We all know how few staff we have so hardly surprising that there are long waiting times. More surprised that that those electing to buy this way are surprised! It was a good decision not to sell to personal callers as this would have slowed it all down further.

Yeah that’s crap if there was a genuine issue on the site that meant your link didn’t show, but t should just be under the ‘memberships’ tab once you’ve logged inpalarsehater said:
may have missed it but how do you check?, also mine worked for gillingham and then didnt this morning until i fired an email off at 9.41 and had no response but 9.45 worked fine.Croydon said:
I do wonder why people have waited until now to check that their VG is linked correctly too.Addickted said:Buying tickets for the play off games - assuming you meet the required criteria - is a piece of piss, a doddle, as easy as buying anything else online or over the phone.

To be fair when Valley Gold started about 92 I think nobody envisaged that it would be a requirement to queue jump. We were just helping towards the youth setup.Addickted said:So you've had to wait 70 minutes to get a ticket? They go to a call centre.

Logged on, no queue at all. Bought 4 for Doncaster away, done in 5 minutes. Same experience as buying home tickets on Monday.
Easy, don't understand the fuss.
Fraction over 800 left for the away game, plus the extra allocation if needed. They'll make general sale comfortably.10 -
Easy, let the 9 o’clock rush go, logged on, no wait and tickets bought.4

They couldn't possibly have coped with selling 28,000 tickets.

I think @The Red Robin has just paid his full annual subscription to VG specifically to get play off tickets. Think it's quite right that VG patrons get some kind of ticketing priority.Acab said:

After a stressful hour and quarter and sending e-mails to valley gold have now been able to buy 2 tickets.
Wanted 5 but system refused, believe i read somewhere it was only 2 per person?2 -
It's not a competition mate. How do you explain the admin error that many have experienced today? Or will you just ignore that and keep pretending it's all wonderful?Addickted said:So you've had to wait 70 minutes to get a ticket? I haven't actually. I've been a member for some time. £120 is clearly its annual cost. You're also not allowed to do that, you have to have been a member for three months I believe to benefit from being a VG member.Addickted said:

I'm assuming general sale will still be 2 per person but no points/VG required.0 -
The home sales figures look seriously impressive to me. I am sure @Airman Brown will have a much better perspective, but It looks to me we will beat the figure for the playoff game against Swindon under Parky, when our core fan base was in much better shape. I think it augurs well for any Wembley showdown against either of those two big boys. I would think we could muster the 35k we took to the 98 final. All of which is pretty amazing with that dark duck taped shadow hanging over us, as Airman tweeted yesterday ( not with those words:)12

Good point I bought a ticket for my mate with my loyalty points I was invited but had a prior engagement to see an old friend who is recovering from cancer so I will give him my 2018/2019 season ticket and a household bill with my address on it just in case.palarsehater said:now on you can pick to pick them up from away ground does anyone know what you will need to do this? would a print out surfice or would they ask for id0 -
I heard somewhere the club has counted season-ticket holders in the home ticket sales -i.e. assuming they all turn up.1

My home and away tickets arrived in the post today, well done the ticket office staff4
