Parking on a bank holiday

been searching online about single yellow lines parking restrictions on a bank holiday. seems that certain councils give an explanation that restrictions do not apply. other councils mention nothing. does anyone know if all councils have the same rules when it comes to this?

the area i'm thinking of parking is in Gravesham.

Not all councils are the same. Most places are free on a Sunday and bank holidays on a single yellow but not restricted zones.

Just saw a group of Ticket Wardens ticketing cars parked in Fairfield Grove on single yellows.

I wouldn’t risk parking on a single yellow today.

Long walk to the ground from there, but better to be safe than sorry I guess.
