  • Sunderland are the only team I do not want to face in the playoffs.
I don't know if I want them to win every game and go up automatically .
Or lose the next couple of matches.

    Confused of chelsfield

Sunderland are beatable, Barnsley are on fire and the ones I wouldn't fancy mate.

This! Barnsley bossed us at Oakwell in December. The one team I don't want to face.

To be fair we sorted them out at The Valley.

    But yes, best avoided.
  • Pompey look like they could bottle it big time with regards to sunderland as i've said before its all well and good having games in hand but you have to win them, moving forward for us we aren't getting autos just too much to ask, fair play to luton for having a go if they could drop off towards end of season would take them.

    i see table finishing like

    barnsley
    sunderland
    luton
    pompey
    doncaster
    charlton

    Best possible finish for me.
I'm confident we would beat Luton over two legs.

  • Nothing in their current form to suggest Sunderland will overhaul Luton. I don't think Sunderland are that good anyway
  • Sunderland down 0-1 at home to Blackpool. Not sure if that’s good news or bad news. Bit of both I guess.
    Doncaster up 1-0
  • That’d be a great result for us along as we beat Blackpool at the weekend.

Sunderland drew (as usual) and Donny won.

Luton are the one team I would not want to face.

Kenilworth Road is by far the hardest ground to get a result at out of those possible teams.
  • Off topic I know, but am I right in thinking the Valley pitch is more bobbly than the last two seasons? Seems that way to me.

I think we over water the pitch before each home game.
Even when we have torrential rain for a few days they still insist on watering the pitch.
Looking at the pitch before the Southend game you could clearly see puddles on the pitch shortly before kick off .
Weather this causes the problem you have mentioned I have no idea.

yes, I reckon we've been washing it too much, always happens with my woolly jumpers.

    Amazed how Luton keep winning....
    Promotion teams do.

Whether they play well or poorly, they more often than not get the result.

    Confused of chelsfield
Sunderland are beatable, Barnsley are on fire and the ones I wouldn't fancy mate.
But nobody has any idea of form in 3 months time.

Injuries or suspension to key players can decimate a team.

Of course, nothing is guaranteed not even us reaching the play offs now that the G&T has been separated 😯. My observations were based on the status quo.
