Sunderland now have 13 league draws this season (we have 7 while Tottenham have 0) including eleven 1-1 draws!
Since Boxing day their results have all been binary

I can imagine the owners of other league one clubs are delighted to see Sunderland, Portsmouth and Charlton all start in drop down the table. Keeping the three biggest clubs in league one next season would be a bonus for everyone else.0

Thank God Doncaster played a full squad against us in the cup. They’ve gone to pieces since then.9

stay in playoffs 25% chance of promotion, not the outcome we wanted but what go back a season and a half ago we were looking at potentially playing league 2 football, if we dont not go up this season then a completely different sqaud and manager will be wearing the kit next year and relegation could be a lot more of a certainty.1

From a betting perspective I always go with a previously relegated team to win the play offs, as they normally have the biggest squad size.0

I'd say Doncaster is he team to avoid at the moment … they will be a major test in a couple of weeks time .. but of course things change so quickly in this League .. whoever we play (if we make the play offs and we surely will) is surely secondary to how we shape up against them .. we've nothing to fear except fear itself (who said that ?)cafcfan1990 said:Luton and Barnsley look strong for the automatics now. We are getting to the business end of the season. It’s all about who is the form team from now on in that counts and less on who has been the form team. We basically know why our form dipped over the past three games, Lyle Taylor was suspended. We just need to start over again from Saturday and keep going.2

Remember the old adage about successful teams playing poorly but still picking up points?
Don't underestimate them. They are not getting beaten; Confidence and morale will still be high.
It's a sound platform to build on should they finish the season on a winning run.
Anyway, Bowyer talks about his 9 game blocks and target of 17 points.
By that reckoning, he will think Sunderland are only 2 points behind target - and won't underestimate them.

It will be interesting to see how we do with Taylor back. My assumption is that we will find winning easier again. Then we have to hope we have him fit for the play offs. I think Fosu needs to be on form by then too to give us a good chance. That is if we make the play-offs.
Sunderland's results are a bit strange - they score every game, but they only score one! They don't concede many, but often concede one! I would expect to see them scoring 2 more often and conceding none more often too! Maybe it has become a bit of a psychological thing for them.0 -

They're not losing games though ...... they've won 3 of them, and the ones they've drawn, they'll feel they should have won most of those - and will look at situations like Grigg rounding the keeper and missing an open goal, feeling next time they'll score it.letthegoodtimesroll said:
