I know there is a chance we will sign Eisa, but as a replacement for Grant, has anyone considered Devante Cole?
He has been on loan at Burton this season but didn’t make a great impact so went back to Wigan a couple of weeks ago, but not been involved since either. Makes me wonder if he is available? Has blistering pace and has done well previously in this league.

Huddersfield manager was asked after the game about Grant.
He refused to comment on Grant and said they are considering their options still

A-Grant hasnt signed yet or he would have said its done or close to being done
B-Grant hasnt signed for anyone else because he would have just said I believe he has signed for someone else.

For anyone who says we may have asked Huddersfield to keep quiet untill we have a replacement, if that was the case surely he would have said we are close or something along them lines.

I think it can also be a case of managers being respectful, if he hasn’t actually signed the paperwork and everything is 100% completely done, then he is still our player and it might just be respectful to us and to Grant by not commenting and being vague.
Of course, we will find out in due course, which I am fully expecting it to be tomorrow.2 -

He said they are considering there options, thats the exact phrase he used, as I said Karlan may move there but we have been told the deal was done today and it was signed and then there manager says they are considering their options still, it doesnt sound as signed to me just yet0 -

The Huddersfield manager specifically said in his Thursday press conference “I do not speak about players registered to other clubs”.
The fact that he refused to talk about Grant this evening doesn’t tip the scales one way or the other, in my opinion.5 -

I was informed it would be announced on Tuesday and was as good as done on Saturday but things chamge.
Rangers were keen. Gerrard was meant to be at Accrington but his flight was delayed. Representatives were at Peterborough.
Rangers were/are prepared to loan him back to us for the rest of the season. Huddersfield are not.
It’s Karlan’s choice. Nice position to be in.13 -

No idea where the deal is now as there is always a time lag so what was true 24, 12 or 6 hours ago isn't always the same now.

Things move and change so info can be out of date or be overtaken by events very quickly.
If I was a betting man I still stick a fiver on it being Hudds and announced today.1 -
The amount of arguing going on at the moment across this thread and the takeover thread is quite saddening. With regards to KG, whatever the truth/situation/outcome we will ALL know come Thursday evening when the window slams shut, we just have to wait approx 40 hours.
As for the other thread I mentioned well that I think that will run and run with all those ITK coming up with credible/incredible/fantasy 'facts' which others will believe/disbelieve/argue about and that's just as sad.
I want the takeover to happen asap, like many/all of us, but arguing about who knows what isnt going to change the eventual outcome (whenever that is)9
