Notts County owner Alan Hardy says he is putting the club up for sale - but denies it is because he tweeted a picture of his anatomy.
Hardy apologised for uploading a photo onto his Twitter account which reportedly showed his penis.
He tweeted that "an inappropriate photo appeared in one of my tweets".
Mr Hardy added on his @Bigalan5 account: "This was clearly an honest mistake as a result of my camera roll being included in a screenshot."
He also said he would be "deleting my account as I feel this is in the best interests of the football club, my family and myself".
