Burton have parked the bus!0

Can't understand why the Burton keeper is time wasting. Won't win the tie doing that.3
-
Have to feel for Burton. It’s a total mismatch. I haven’t seen the City team but fair play to Guardiola if he has put out a strong team, actually shows respect to Burton.0

The burton keeper was just time wasting 😂😂0

Burton keeper time wasting for some reason...0

Burton just won a throw in, look like their getting back into it.7

Probably got Man City 9 in the sweepstakes.WelshAddick said:The burton keeper was just time wasting 😂😂

Burton playing downhill second leg?0
-
5 goals
6 subs
2 minutes added on haha, think thats just a case of ref wanting to put Burton out there misery2 -
Can MC just pull a player off the field without a substitution and go to ten men if they run out of substitutions, so it does not become 10-0?0

Glad they're not getting double figures
Lost respect for the City fans who were booing Burton when they got into their penalty area and wanting 10-goals
Should piss off and remember they were at Burton's level not long ago and its only a slice of fortune rather than quality that has seen them become as good as they are now!!8 -
Think we may see a few City kids playing in the second leg.4
-
I'm listening to talk sport. They mentioned a time Palace got tonked 9-0.
The presenter couldn't remember who the goalkeeper was.7 -
Would prefer to think of Fulham who are in the same division as both City and Palace as they lost at home to the team that sits in 10th place in League 2.oohaahmortimer said:We are in the same league as Burton and palace won at Man City .
Just to bring some more misery to you all1 -
Can Burton just forfeit the 2nd leg and take a 3-0 defeat?
A game that absolutely no one will want to play in.1 -
Guardiola could be respectful to the Burton home supporter's who will still want to see the great players on their turf.
Understandable if he decides to play a full youth side though.0 -
I think city might go through5

I can't decide whether watching clips like this is brilliant or heartbreaking. A bit of both, I suspect.ForeverAddickted said:Doesnt matter what Man City achieve... I'll always remember them for this!! (4:50)

What a team that was. Jensen and Parker in midfield - one of the best midfield pairings we have ever had. Not to forget Rufus, Robinson, Stuart, and the rest.
Just eff off Roland so there is a slight chance I can watch a Charlton team like that again before I depart this earth.

Burton played a weaker team so they can concentrate on the league.1

I wonder what odds you'd get on a 10-0 home win in the second leg.0

I think it is fair to say that, yes, it would be the biggest shock of all timeMendonca In Asdas said:Burton Albion, due to play the first leg of their Carrier Bag cup semi final tonight, if they were to beat Man City over 2 legs, would this be the biggest cup shock of all time in British football?

The crowd was over 32,000 and with a sell out at Burton (average crowd 3,500) their 45% share of the revenue from the semis should be meaningful.
Clough spoke very well at the end of the game and whilst he wasn't as abrasive as his old man there was still the odd comment that reminded you of one of the greatest managers of the last 50 years.3 -
If Burton Albion Beat Man City Over 2 Legs...
,,,I'll have the names of the Burton players tattooed on my arse.0 -
Burton could still make it!0

That would have been the biggest ever cup shock, seeing as QPR played West Bromwich Albion in the final.Henry Irving said:
Tier 3 beating Tier 1 isn't that unusual. Over two legs makes it harder but "biggest cup shock off all time" is a big claim.Mendonca In Asdas said:Burton Albion, due to play the first leg of their Carrier Bag cup semi final tonight, if they were to beat Man City over 2 legs, would this be the biggest cup shock of all time in British football?
QPR beating Arsenal in the League cup final in 1967
A third division side beat three division sides in a row in the FA Cup in 1922/23
For the record Wimbledon beating Liverpool in the FA Cup was NOT a cup shock. Wimbledon finished 7th in the top flight that year and had beated Liverpool at Plough Lane the year before in the league.7 -

I had a £1 @66/1! Bottled it though and cashed out for £40.0

If that happens I might have to consider going skinny dipping.PopIcon said:I wonder what odds you'd get on a 10-0 home win in the second leg.
