    Wilson for Kane perhaps?
Yeah. We've yet to create a chance this half. Haven't even seen him touch the ball.

This is why I'm not a football manager.

Now let's hit them on the counter

Tell you what, I've just fully celebrated that goal in my front room. I had my doubts about this Nations League, but it's actually class

If we win, Southgate deserves most of the credit
  • If we win, Southgate deserves most of the credit

Hmm still wonder if he should have taken off Dier with Delph protecting... He's left us exposed a few times that could have made it 2-0
  • Yesssssss... Lovren booked

Yeah, but we’ve been far more direct since.

Underrated part of Sterling’s game that. Strength at holding opponents off the ball, eg in the corner then is very impressive

To be fair, did he look like scoring?

Never been happier to be wrong

Should be Lingard... Scored and then cleared off the line!!!

That’s partly why he stays on the pitch though, he can look crap for 85 minutes and then score the winner.

Who’s booking their tickets for Portugal next summer then?

I think Gomez should have been MoM. Some of his passing from the back is unbelievably good for someone of his experience.
  • Superb to win a group containing Spain and Croatia. Now onto the final four in Portugal next summer. Good to have a tournament to look forward to at the end of the season.

Don’t see players celebrating like that after a friendly.

    Viva the Nations League

As someone said, doing well in tournaments can only help England do well in tournaments. Something we don't have enough experience of.

    So much better than friendlies.
