    Up to 5th in the World now... I guess a win against Croatia could take us above them which would equal our highest ever position in the rankings if I remember rightly

    Rankings still dont mean much, maybe a few years after the new national league it might be a bit more true. doesn't look too far out but still would take with a pinch of salt, Belgium have not won anything or even got to a final

    Would love to know how England jumped from 13th (?) to just 6th yet Belgium were level with France despite there being only 100 points between the two prior to the World Cup even happening?

    Surely the FIFA Ranking should restart each year with the top 32 based on where you finish in the World Cup so the top four should have been: France | Croatia | Belgium | England

    No logic, never has been. At least with the new format, teams are playing people around similar level so it might be a bit more accurate.
