You can't deny that he has done well with Wigan (why Brum let him go is beyond me). I bet Newcastle wish they had appointed him as well...

I saw it had been rejected as Sunderland could not compensate Wigan

I really like him. Villa have been a mess over the summer. Granted they’ve spent some big money last season, but so did Wolves. The championship is a bastard of a league to get out of. Bruce has always been a professional and gives his all in every job. He’s not the sort of manager you throw a cabbage at

    Proper LOL at that.
  • Oh and he had a cabbage thrown at him

Because they are going through a bad patch?

Just seen Glenn Whelan took the penalty.

    1 goal in 7 years
    5 goals in his career

    Was only on 10 minutes

Why on earth did he take such a crucial penalty

tbh Villa should be thankful for the point. 3-2 down after 86 mins.

It was an angry German Villa fan who threw the cabbage

    A sauerkraut...
  • Can't believe someone took a cabbage to the game just to throw at him!

Leaving the house......."got my keys, wallet, phone, season ticket, cabbage...."

The guy that threw it was up in court this afternoon apparently.

    £5,000 pound fine.

He said that he couldn't pay it as he was Brassica.

    Was it Stan Caulimore?

But if they'd scored that penalty they'd have had a marrow victory
  • I heard there's not a shred of evidence as to who threw it.
