    Bauer: 7 - brave
    Pearce: 7,5 - commanding

  • I was at VALLEY PARADE not some insurance companies ground.

Referee: 7 I think he got both "dives" wrong, they weren't pens, Grant was a 5050 and Aribo fell over. Thought he was going to loose it the second half and did well to bring it back in front of a hostile home crowd.

Steer: 6 didn't have much to do tbh, looks very comfortable with the ball at his feet.

Solly: 7 isn't the player he was by any stretch, still good enough though.

Bauer: 7.5 very good, jumps too early and hangs on the opposition player, an clever striker will work him out and win lots of free kicks.

Pearce: 8 captain, leader, becoming a legend.

Page: 7 but Scannel is passed it and it showed.

Reeves: 6.5 tired, always looks like he has lots of time on the ball then gives it away. Hard to feel him and ward apart from a distance. If he assisted the first give him an extra. 5

Aribo: 7.5 totally opposite to reeves, always looks like he is about to give it away then some how keeps it.

Cullen: 8.5 best footballer on the pitch, I am a massive fan of Kashi, this boy looks better. Surprised where he played as I thought he was a more offensive player.

Ward: 6.5 like Reeves faded badly, a little shit of a player, that's a good thing now he plays for us. If he got the assist give him.5 more.

Taylor: 8.5 mom. Great finish, worked his socks off. Brilliant signing.

Grant: 8, great goal, harsh booking, Bradford fans in the pub think it should have been a pen.

Lapslie: 6.5 the. 5 for a really crunching tackle. There is something about him that doesn't look like a footballer, not sure what it is. Did OK.

Vetokele: n/a needs games, check-a-trade? Can see him being vital after Xmas if he is still here.

    Sarr: n/a massive, physically massive.

Referee: 5 made a lot of good calls but don't think either penalty appeal was a booking (Grant I thought was a pen, Aribo didn't ask for it!)
Steer: 7 - fine, good save early
Solly: 7 - did well down his side, left their LB a lot of space but got across when needed
Bauer: 7.5 - looked like giving a foul away but never did
Pearce: 8 - legend at the back
Page: 6.5 - not his best game but did enough
Reeves: 6.5 - pinged a couple of great passes but also caught in possession a few times
Aribo: 7.5 - strong on the ball, tidy in possession
Cullen: 8 - put himself about and got his foot on the ball plenty. Went to applaud Bradford fans too which I thought was a nice touch.
Ward: 6.5 - annoyed their defense but not much came off for him. Given time he could be a real asset.
Taylor: 8.5 motm - great signing, great goal, top lad!
Grant: 8 - great running, becoming a top player
Lapslie: 7.5 - love this kid, lovely he came over for a handshake at the end!

Vetokele: n/a - looked lively. Could have scored!

At the game. 0 for the Pie and the beer.
    Referee: 7
Steer: 7 one point blank shot in the first minutes and a few steeplers to deal with in second half and that was it.
Solly: 7 Worked well in this formation,
Bauer: 8 Always one step ahead of their attacks.
Pearce: 8 Steady as a rock.
Page: 7 Easily kept Scannell at bay.
Reeves: 7 Decent first half and some lovely touch and move in the second.
Aribo: 8 so composed and lovely first touches.
Cullen: 8.5 Apart from 20 min spell in second half he bossed that game.
Ward: 6.5 Can see he will get better. Strong and quick.
Taylor: 8 lovely finish and was a handful all day.
Grant: 7.5 Should have buried the chance he blazed over the bar in first half. Decent goal and worked hard.
    Lapslie: 6 steady.

    Solly: 7 usual Mr Reliable
Bauer: 7.5 solid and dominated in the air stood firm with Pearce when under the cosh until our 2nd goal quietened the oppo down.
Pearce: 7.5 led by example and with the BFG never let their strikers have a sniff
Page: 6.5 off the pace early on better thereafter
Reeves: 6 a bit lightweight caught in possession a few times rightfully subbed for Lapslie's energy and drive.

Ward: 6.5 carrying a bit of timber and didn't look fully fit more to come
Taylor: 8 gave their CBs a tough time super strike for his goal
Grant: 8 lovely strike for 1st after cutting in from left and assist for 2nd

At the game, different stand to previous, excellent view
Referee: 7 Pretty good on the whole. Grant and Aribo decisions 50/50
Steer: Stunning save early doors, good distribution
    Solly:7 solid game
Bauer: 7 dominated the high ball, kept Doyle quiet
Pearce:7 determined leadership as ever, when he plays we
Page: 6.5 erratic yet mainly solid
Reeves: 7.5 intelligent use of the ball
Aribo: 7 kept pushing us forward
Cullen: 8.5 has Scott Parker traits he and Bielik are 'different gravy' at this level
Ward: 6.5, match sharpness will improve his game
Taylor: 7.5 needs to keep his composure stunning goal
Grant: 7 excellent strike for the first goal high energy performance
Lapslie: 7.5 really impressed by his all round game

Vetokele: 7 Worked really hard great attitude
    Sarr: n/

Cracking away win, Bow and Jacko must really screw the opposition with their team and formation. Under KR it was all about the consistent formation. today we went with a back 4 what will it be vs Plymouth?

no mark for Steer .. are you a Phillips fan in denial ((:>)
  • Referee: 5 lost it towards the end with all those cards
Steer: 7 one excellent save first half. Not tested much after that. Good distribution.
Solly: 6.5 solid in defence. Wasn’t able to get forward much.
    Bauer: 6.5 Solid
    Pearce: 6.5 Solid
Page: 7.5 Got up and down the pitch well, defended well and made one goal saving intervention.
Reeves: 5.5 lightweight needs more players around him who can do the ugly stuff, not a good partner for Aribo in a diamond.
Aribo: 5.5 Gave the ball away too much.
Cullen: 7.5 tidy, busy, and a great assist. More of those please as we generally don’t play enough early through balls.
Ward: 6 worked hard but looked rusty and a bit anonymous.
Taylor: 6.5 good goal, feeding off scraps a bit though.
Grant: 6.5 really well taken goal and another assist. Gave them all sorts of problems first half, faded in the second.
Lapslie: 7 his energy and commitment swung it back our way towards the end when we finally got on top of the midfield.

Vetokele: 6 worked hard but didn’t have much impact.

  • Referee: 6, some silly bookings but didn’t bow down to the moaning home crowd.
Steer: 6, one decent save but didn’t have a lot to do.
    Solly: 6, did his job.
Bauer: 7, won headers with ease.
Pearce: 7, as above, always there when called upon.
Page: 7, good addition going forward.
Reeves: 6, pretty good considering was first competitive start.
Aribo: 7, energetic, home fans said he was good too.
Cullen: 8, excellent from start to finish, all over the pitch and great through ball for first goal, reminds me of Nolan the player for Shrewsbury last season.
Ward: 6, same as Reeves really, can see glimpses of quality.
Taylor: 9, mom for me, a handful, strong, clinical, and full of energy and endeavour.
Grant: 7, poacher of a striker, useful performance.
Lapslie: 6, did well when came on.
