Bielek: 6 - think he could be a very good player for us. Not great but excused given he’s only been here a few days
Bauer: 6 - thought he looked a little shaky

Solly: 5.5 - not the player he was and not good enough to play in a Promotion winning side. We won’t be one so he’s average for us.
Aribo: 6 - didn’t do much
Pratley: 6.5 - really happy to have him, still got a good year in him I feel
Lapslie: 6.5 - tried hard without much quality.
Page: 6.5 - decent display, much better then Sunderland
Taylor: 6 - frustrated and didn’t offer much
Grant: 7.5 - our best threat, looks a different player to the one I saw last season and hoping he carries on impressing

Phillips: 6 minus 1 for distribution and palming one to penalty spot first half; plus one for tipping cross shot away late on and worldy before ball eventually went in
Bielik:6.5 comfortable on the ball, up for it cramped up though 2nd half and subbed
Bauer: 6 good game but looses 1 mark for poor attempt to clear after Phillips worldy
Sarr: 6.5 mixed bag but overall more good than bad
Solly: 6 usual commitment but got outpaced for their goal
Aribo: 7 silky skills put a shift in
Pratley: 7.5 good old head gets through loads of work shame he can't shoot straight
Lapslie: 7 Lots of hard graft never stops

Taylor: 5 disappointed, was expecting more with all the hype needs to try and play the ball a bit more instead of the man
Grant 7 definitely playing with more confidence but should've cut the ball back for Taylor to slot home instead of trying to squeeze the ball in from an impossible angle extra point for the goal.
Marshall n/a however got to be a cameo worse than that of Le Point at the Valley when we scored from his presence in the box.5 -

Phillips: 6.5 - To me, seems to be growing in confidence.
Bielik: 6- I felt seem fairly assured considering how swiftly he has come into the team, just one mistake which could of cost us.
Bauer: 7- Solid as ever
Sarr: 7- By far our best passer of the ball out of defence and got us on our way for the goal a great presence to have at the back.
Solly: 6.5 - Worked hard in defence , but lacked the energy and inspiration to get much further forward.
Aribo: 6- I thought he looked a little lost in the formation.
Pratley: 7 - A battling performance, at the heart of most of our play out of midfield.
Lapslie: 6 - Not a great game, again didn't really seem to know his place in the formation
Page: 6.5 - Decent crossing and forward play
Taylor: 6 - Not one of his best but the way the match was refereed didn't help him.
Grant: 7 - Great pace and a real threat, though he should of passed to Taylor for a tap in in the 2nd half rather then blasting at the post.3 -

Just in...May have stopped to watch the Frampton fight!
Phillips: 6 Very good save just before goal, but distribution was poor and one save in first half pushed the ball into the middle of the box.
Bielik: 6.5 Looks a good player, composed on the ball. Struggled late on.
Bauer: 6 Steady display, nothing remarkable.
Sarr: 6.5 Some great passes, linked well with Page. Not impressed with sarky cheering from crowd.
Solly: 6 Like Bauer, steady but nothing outstanding today.
Aribo: 7 Really like him. Some great tight control, looks comfortable on the ball and finds decent passes.
Pratley: 7 Great signing. Good head on him, should have had a couple of free kicks from clever play. Ref poor.
Lapslie: 6.5 Liked George in the U23s and he’s not out of place now having stepped up.
Page: 7.5 MOTM Some great crosses, including for the goal. He made space and great runs down the left. Very good game.
Taylor: 6.5 Didn’t quite come off for him today, but holds the ball really well. Kept their defence on their toes and busy.
Grant: 7 Looking a much better player than I have seen over recent years. Busy, harries, good runs. Would have had another point or more if he’d lifted his head and pulled that ball back for Taylor.
Marshall: n/a. Not impressed when he came on. Some poor decisions.
