    He’s worth 15-20 million in the current market. To get him on a free transfer on a three year deal has saved them 100k-130k a week. If they’ve had to pay over the odds wages wise to get him that’s something to consider.

    Providing it doesn’t upset the dressing room with other players getting pissed off with wage structure etc I think it’s a good signing.

    Still hope the pricks finish pointless though.

    Juventus are mad letting Caldara go. He's the next Bonucci - could end up even better he's such a prospect.

    I think they just want the Champions League now. And if they win it they can probably afford to just buy him back in the future.

    Bournemouth about to complete the signing of Jefferson Lerma for 25m!!

    A couple of years ago i'm not sure their entire club was even worth that.

    Dwight Gayle is a very good signing for the Championship, feel West Brom have got the better deal there.

    Good deal all round imo, Rondon more suited for Premiership and will get more from him. Gayle scores for fun in the championship

    The PL clubs all wanted the transfer window to close earlier, I guess it makes sense to have all the last minute panicking going on now instead of during the PL season!

    Where it gets a bit awkward though is when we've moved the date forward, but other countries haven't. Even though the date to sell players to most European countries hasn't changed, clubs won't want to sell the likes of Hazard or Courtois after our deadline has passed as then they wouldn't be able to get a replacement, unless they buy replacements first...

    Sky had a poll this evening & asked Burnley fans who they would want as their No1 when all fit. In order it was

    Pope
    Heaton
    Hart

    with Pope getting around 60% of the votes.

    Derby have just signed Martyn Waghorn from Ipswich for an eye watering £5m! The latter have then recycled £1.75m of that by signing Toto Nsiala and Jon Nolan from Shrewsbury.

    I make that great business for Ipswich and good news for us too as Shrewsbury will be weaker when they face us on Saturday.

    As for Derby, what a waste of money!
