Still bonkers money. Will end in tears one day. I had no idea Benteke was on £120k p/wk.....he's not that good either.covered end junior said:80k a week according to sky. The fact he’s free and they only have to pay a small fee for compensation probably evens it out in all honesty, good signing for them.

He’s worth 15-20 million in the current market. To get him on a free transfer on a three year deal has saved them 100k-130k a week. If they’ve had to pay over the odds wages wise to get him that’s something to consider.
Providing it doesn’t upset the dressing room with other players getting pissed off with wage structure etc I think it’s a good signing.
Still hope the pricks finish pointless though.0 -
Saw this article on him a couple of weeks back... seems like he might have some attitude issues too.

Modric might not be leaving Madrid after all
BBC says they want £670m for him3 -
Juventus are mad letting Caldara go. He's the next Bonucci - could end up even better he's such a prospect.
I think they just want the Champions League now. And if they win it they can probably afford to just buy him back in the future.0 -

Strange signing, he's over 30 and i don't see how he fits their style of play at all. Thought they might have made a move to get Thiago back from Bayern instead.paulie8290 said:Vidal joins Barca from Munich for 27M

Newcastle have signed striker Salomon Rondon from West Brom on a season-long loan, with Dwight Gayle heading to the Championship side on the same deal.0

Bournemouth about to complete the signing of Jefferson Lerma for 25m!!
A couple of years ago i'm not sure their entire club was even worth that.1 -
Burnley sign Joe Hart on a 2 year deal for £3.5m.
So when all 3 are fit they have him, Heaton and Pope.0 -

Dwight Gayle is a very good signing for the Championship, feel West Brom have got the better deal there.Chris_from_Sidcup said:Newcastle have signed striker Salomon Rondon from West Brom on a season-long loan, with Dwight Gayle heading to the Championship side on the same deal.

Good deal all round imo, Rondon more suited for Premiership and will get more from him. Gayle scores for fun in the championshipCharlton_Stu said:

I was focusing more on the England keepers. Lindegaard will be watching tv at home when those 3 are all match fit.paulie8290 said:

Pope wont want to waste this past year by sitting on a bench or in reserves.
Heaton is to good to be on the bench or in reserves
Hart wouldnt have left being citys 3rd choice to becone Burnleys 3rd choice1 -
Maybe not but will only be a matter of time before his customary howlers.paulie8290 said:

The PL clubs all wanted the transfer window to close earlier, I guess it makes sense to have all the last minute panicking going on now instead of during the PL season!
Where it gets a bit awkward though is when we've moved the date forward, but other countries haven't. Even though the date to sell players to most European countries hasn't changed, clubs won't want to sell the likes of Hazard or Courtois after our deadline has passed as then they wouldn't be able to get a replacement, unless they buy replacements first...0 -
Sky had a poll this evening & asked Burnley fans who they would want as their No1 when all fit. In order it waspaulie8290 said:

Derby have just signed Martyn Waghorn from Ipswich for an eye watering £5m! The latter have then recycled £1.75m of that by signing Toto Nsiala and Jon Nolan from Shrewsbury.
I make that great business for Ipswich and good news for us too as Shrewsbury will be weaker when they face us on Saturday.
As for Derby, what a waste of money!1 -
Good news for whoever is playing Shrewsbury next5 -
