golf - whilst i enjoy the sport the coverage of it is sometimes so hard to follow the way they chop and change and then have someone dicking about about the rules of golf - most people that watch a sport know the rules.
motorsport - just not my bag
american sports - with the exception of ice hockey

Okay, because there's nothing else I should be doing and because I thought it might be interesting, I've aggregated the scores.

I've incorporated some bias on the basis that people would choose their most boring sport first: so the 1,2,3 slots got 3,2 and 1 points respectively. I have also amalgamated some answers, like lumping together all motor sport and horse-related stuff. I have not differentiated between the men's and women's version of a sport and left out what I assumed were jokes.

Up to and including @Pelling1993 answers here's the top ten (well, bottom 10 really):

Motorsport 77
American Football 38
Golf 34
Basketball 33
Horse-related Sport 32
Baseball 26
Tennis 25
Rugby 22
Cricket 17
Cycling 13

F1 contributed 69 to the motorsport section and was thus far and away the most boring sport. That suggests that F1 and FIA should be worried, very worried indeed.

Although I voted for it....I don't really see Horse Racing as a true sport - I see it more as gambling facilitation event.

I wonder what on course and off course viewing figures would be like if gambling on the gee gees was outlawed?!?

Doubt whether people would watch it furlong.

Less people would certainly jump at the chance to go see it and race courses would become rather flat

Horse Racing (leaves me cold)
Cycling (cure for insomnia)
Rugby (any sport that says you have to pass backwards to make it interesting, isn't)
