    Tell you what this takes a huge amount of pressure off Southgate and England tomorrow in a funny sort of way -If Belgium had won this 2 or 3 nil there would be masses of pressure to get a result against Columbia to justify aiming for the bottom half of the draw. But if we would have likely lost anyway v Japan...? well Columbia becomes a free hit then doesn't it?

    You may not recall but Japan were my tip to be the surprise team of the tournament. It helps they are playing a team of bottlers, but If Belgium get one back they can still turn it round!

    Colombia are a more gifted team than Japan without doubt, but also a less well organised team. That probably suits us a bit.
