before last nights game i was in the white swan and saw that fella from the advert, (he used to be stu pot in grange hill as well).
i must of heard half a dozen people say ''ello kev" to him. i thought to myself, you pricks, how many times do you think he's heard that? (sorry if it was any lifers).
there was a previous thread about being dumbstruck when meeting idols, but has anyone met someone of note and said something they later think "why the f**k di i say that?"

    I was with my ex mrs once up town and we walked past a cafe and Martine McCutcheon was sitting at the table outside. I quietly wispered to the mrs that she was their and my mrs walked back stood in front of her and shouted " its martine McCutcheon"! I quickly escorted her away!

    Most of net addicks know this but i once met bill clinton when living in Hong Kong... absolute drivel came out of my gob... all the yanks going "hey bill, john california", "hey bill pete, Ohio" etc etc... he gets down the line to me "allright bill, brenda, bexleyheath"... then a lot more drivel about how i thought he was doing a great job etc etc... it was a week before "Cigar Gate" and on his way back from Northern Ireland.

    he tried to get away but i kept a firm grip of his hand... his security guards started talking into their "shoulders" about me. i searched and searched the next day for a picture in the press of me and him as i had decided it would be a good idea to get christmas cards printed up with that pic... saying "bill and bren wish you a happy xmas". never did find one tho.

    I was in new york on the ice scating rink in central park... and Dr Green from ER scatted past with his kids and cause Id had a couple of holiday budweisers I shouted 'are ou Dr.Green?' to which he replied I was.... and then we proceeded to take strategic photos.. as in pretending to take pictures of my girlfriend ust as he scatted past ... He didnt like us much...

    and I did play Jimmy white once and got a break of 26...

    thats my only brushes with fame.....

    Mr Bronson played the site manager in the original Auf Wiedersehen Pet and also Hitler in an India Jones film. I think he died last year. Michael Shead was the actors name I believe.
