If they used VAR to overturn a decision every time a defender grabbed a shirt in the box, we'd have 10 penalties a game. It wasn't obviously a bad decision by the referee.

VAR is something you have to use for every decision , or none! Can’t be having such inconsistent usage of it especially with the inconsistency of refereeing1

I also agree it shouldn't take every decision away from the referee. I think Walker was stupid but I thought it was a harsh penalty. However, the ref gave it and I don't think it should have been overturned.
But then VAR is there to look at penalty decisions. They had another look at a possible penalty and you saw a defender shove Kane without watching the game. Therefore it is a clear penalty
Don't tell me VAR is being used 'perfectly' when they take a second look at a stone wall penalty and don't give it. This wasn't a little bit of shoving in the box, it was a defender not interesting in defending the corner.6 -
