That structure reminds me of the seating used at the London Olympics in some venues, especially the Volleyball arena inside Earls Court.
I'm sure it's perfectly safe but
a) I wouldn't like to be up there in a thunderstorm with that metal and no roof
b) I'm really afraid of heights so that back row would be a nightmare for me!
c) The absence of a back wall is surely dangerous, what is someone drops something from the top through the gaps (which could happen accidentally e.g a coin from a pocket)
A weird view, the framing of the stadium makes it look like you're watching a giant screen1 -

I like that they've done this rather than building huge stadiums that will be rarely used or if they are be about 20% capacity. Seems much more sensible for sustainability and I'm sure it is safe. The very last thing Russia and FIFA want is a tragedy happening.cafctom said:

Hopefully there will be nothing on the Belgium game. I think they will have the same sentiment to be fair! Of course finishing top of the group could be important, but not getting out of the group is unthinkable!0
