What would you call a pub if you owned one?

I'd probably call mine 'The Bear and Pickle' as a nod to my daughters' nicknames, but would be tempted by a "Fanny on the Hill" type double entendre name.

    I've long thought a good name for a pub at the football ground would be "The Goalkeeper's Arms"

    they missed a trick at Pratts Bottom. there's a pub there called the bull's head yet down the road in anther village they got a pub called the cock inn. should of been the Cock Inn Pratts Bottom.

    Think it’s already been done but ‘the gym’ would be an ideal local for me.
    At least when I tell the doctor I visit the gym 4 times a week I won’t be lying.

    Pig and Peacock

    Went to Maryon Wilson Park and there was a peacock, happy as Larry, standing on the back of a pig, whilst he was eating from a trough.

    Made me realise how the two animals are completely different from eachother in every way, and yet socialised in the same place, just like guests at a pub.

    Pork dominated food menu, pork scratchings and peacock feathers in vases on every table.

    Not sure how old you are but there was a pub called The Valley up near the village......it was built in the 60’s I believe.
    I’m going to guess it closed down about 20 years ago......the landlord was a well known ex-player who, by all accounts, was a right miserable bastard.
