UCL Final not on normal TV? WTF?

Looks like you've already solved your problem. Just watch it on the YouTube app through the PS4. I did the same last year and will be on Saturday.PragueAddick said:
Yes this is what they are claiming but at the moment we can only connect a PS4 to the TV, and it cannot get the BT app on that, but we can get YouTube. We need to get hold of a connector for a laptop if we want to get BT onto the TV.BDL said:Final has to be shown free to air, so BT are doing that on all platforms.

How does one find out in advance is what we need to know?
Find out for yourself then. Only trying to help. What a weird thing to call someone out on.SoundAsa£ said:

What kind of TV doesn't have a HDMI port, some of you must live in the 90's still.

I is a bit of a liberty its not on free to watch tv, but there are still plenty of options available.0 -
Well between me being 70 and my next door neighbour Alan, who’s 83, we know f all about compooters.
As we are both going to watch the game, I was going to invite him to my place if it was going to be on TV but sadly that is now unlikely. Red Robin kind of built our hopes up for a moment there, but no big deal at our age we can’t leave things to the last minute!
So I will have to take him to the pub instead.2 -
Well gotta say thanks to all the quick responses, looks like we have two options, once we get the right HDMI connector for the Macbook. Its not my idea of free to air, but well, i guess it really isn't my country any more.
The pub was never an option. Not in Eltham...1 -
Maybe try the wireless.. R5 Live? Otherwise down to a pub that is showing it if that isn't too much of an imposition?SoundAsa£ said:Well between me being 70 and my next door neighbour Alan, who’s 83, we know f all about compooters.

Not if your view of free to air telly is one from the mid 90s. The whole country has a free to air option, and can watch itPragueAddick said:Well gotta say thanks to all the quick responses, looks like we have two options, once we get the right HDMI connector for the Macbook. I hope it’s on analogue and not too many trains go past causing interference of the signal from the Crystal Palace tower.Stu_of_Kunming said:What kind of TV doesn't have a HDMI port, some of you must live in the 90's still.

I don’t wanna spend half the match adjusting the aerial or bashing the side of the TV.
I’ll also have to remember to turn the tele on at around 7:30 to let it warm up. Will it be on bbc1, bbc2, itv or itv* ?

The whole country, eh? Would this be the same country where I keep hearing/ reading of people with Internet speeds slower than a South Eastern Train?Rothko said:PragueAddick said:Well gotta say thanks to all the quick responses, looks like we have two options, once we get the right HDMI connector for the Macbook. I can generally manage internet delivered TV reasonably well, but as far as I am aware there are still millions of people with crap net speeds, and possibly as a result, they have no idea how to do this. @SoundAsa£ is obviously one example.
In Prague we just, you know, switch on the Telly...
