Sounds like its a Lee Bowyer type situation then where they'll concentrate on getting a new man in over the summer.

JJ was brought in by the previous manager as his number 3 on the basis that he knew Rangers and had knowledge of the Scottish league. He remained in post following Murty' s appointment and has now stepped up following his departure.

Think Gerrard will be announced in the next few days.

Give Murty his due, he certainly put in the hours and regularly attended youth games including as recently as last night.
